I had trouble installing SCS and Refinements(not so important) with Big world 5.3 installer. I had trouble with installing Part 2 of Nej as well so I had to alter the BiG World Install english v5.3.bat as well as some other install options before it worked. So this time around everything installs correctly except SCS and Refinements..the later I do not care as much about. I did not alter anything in the install lines for either of them in the Big world install .bat file except maybe a few options for the install list.
I attached the debugs and tp2 files as well as my slightly altered Big World 5.3 install file. Any help is much appreciated.

The reason I wish to get the automatic .bat installer working correctly with everything installing fine so much is I have a few friends that I would like to share the mods with and I would like it to be as easy as possible for them to install the mods as they are not as savy as me for clicking on each setup file one at a time. We play online together when possible and exact clone installs of mine should reduce any errors while in MP. At least that is so from my past experience playing them online. I intend on zipping the unextracted mods once all is well and distributing the HUGE zip file to my aquantinces to extract and install.

Refinements choked on the KITLIST.2DA or the KIT.IDS may have had too many kits.

It is odd that it never happened before in the last weeks. At any rate I can do without Refinements, but I would very much like to get SCS installed with everything else.

The SCS thing is fixed by fetching the current unofficial tp2 from the SCS forums on G3.

I have seen the refinements error before but I can't find it now. The bigg posted some code to fix it.

Some things went really wrong but most of them are not caused by the installer 5.3 in his available Version.

1. SCS: FATAL ERROR: Failure("IF_EVAL is disabled when using newer WeiDU capabilities.")
This is a message from WeiDU v208 I never have seen before. I don't know the cause for this. I had installed with WeiDU 207.

2. Dual Wielding Fix for Rogues by aVENGER is outdated and should no more be installed. It is replaced by its newer version Proper dual-wielding implementation for Thieves and Bards: v3.91.
I forgot to delete the BD component number out of my installer. I'm sorry for this. I will correct this as soon as possible.
The according NEJ component was already deleted. It seems you added it manually again.

3. Same with Improved Nymph (Woodland Being) Script by Goeran Rimen. It was also deleted, because it's already installed by BD.

4. You haven't installed the BGT-NeJ2 Compatibility Patch. This is mandatory if you have installed NEJ v42b together with BGT

5. SCSII: You have installed v7 instead of v8

6. Refinements: I never had this before. Maybe that's caused by your changes before

I have seen the refinements error before but I can't find it now. The bigg posted some code to fix it.

If your talking about that SCS tp2 fix that was linked until recently in the Big World Improvements then no. That is the one that gave me the trouble. It does the same thing with the original tp2 file as well. I did find I COULD manually install it by copying over the original tp2 before(or after) weidu gets ahold of it for the install. I need the .bat installer to install it however.

I did not ask about your opinion of my entire install. I doubt those mistakes have anything to do with my original problem anyway. I will consider your "corrections", but that's not what I asked for. What I did was ask for help installing SCSv8 and (to a much lesser degree)Refinements with Big World 5.3 .bat file. NOTE all this stuff installed perfectly under the old 5.2 BW .bat
BGT-NeJ2 is installed...unless your talking about some other BGT-Nej2.
Regardless of all this...none of this really helps me. There are people here that COULD help me with a few minutes of their time, but they are incognito in this post so far. Leonardo...aren't you the BW advocate ?

I will try it with the most latest tp2 files from G3 forums. I don't hold much hope this one looks like the one that screwed up, but we'll see.
Yes you are the advocate of BW. I am not good with names. I removed the install components from your .bat file you suggested. Updated SCSII 7 to 8. I downloaded a supposedly working tp2 file for scs from G3. Refinements can be damned if this install works.
Thank you for your current assistance. I am leary if this is going to work out as planned though.

Sorry you were right. I don't know why though as it is listed on the install list in the .bat file and it is in my folder when I install.

Hmm nevermind for the moment I believe it is the install order in the .bat file. I'll reinstall everything..again and get back to you.

SCS and Refinements are now installing however the BGT-NEJ2 Compatibility Patch is not installing for some reason even though it's there. SCS II is no longer installing ever since I downloaded v8.
If it's not one thing it's another more annoying thing.
