Gee, I always wanted to create this topic!

1) Meaning: Every 3 days I'll post various handwrited pictures, from BG2. You'll need to answer several questions, below the picture. You can consult with each other. Hope you enjoy it! All comments are appreciated! (I won't color it, since if I did, you'll quickly answer questions.)

Deadline: 26th of July, 10.00 PM (Well, 20 minutes ago )
Questions:
1. Who are on the picture? (The elf is my PC - Alaja)
2. What are they doing?
3. What does woman in the robe wants from Alaja?

Yuan-ti or Salamanders... I forget what's there. But this is Mekrath's lair in the sewers, if I'm not mistaken. And you're there to free HD and get the planar gem. OR they could be Yuan-ti on the slaver ship as well. Hmmmm..... From the door on the left, I'll still go with Mekrath's magic manse.

In the first pic, you have me stumped. PC, Minsc, Alora and ??????? Have no clue what the mystery woman wants with PC's hair, but I'm not as familiar with all the little bits in BG1.

1. As Yuan-ti are the only snake-like creatures that carry swords, that is what the creatures must be... However I don't remember them using shields. I'll allow for artistic creativity there.

2. Mekrath's Lair. The Yuan-ti in the DeArnise Keep are not found in a bedroom, but more of a study/library. The place in Mekrath's lair has the bed with the canopy, the chest, and a rug...although the items are not in the exact same locations as in the picture and the rug is not round. But once again, so long as the main idea is put across, in my opinion, the artist can be free.

3. It goes without saying that Mekrath would be the main villain in Mekrath's lair, right? Right.

4. Raelis Shai sends you there to rescue Haer'Dalis.

And just a comment: Those Yuan-ti look awfully happy! Are they expecting a meal?

Ok, since the contest is looking good, deadline changes to 29th of July. (Well, normal 3 days). Amaurea, no. No BG1, only BG2. (Since I played BG1. loooong time agoooo... very long time ago....

Right, I know everyone else has answered, but I purposefully avoided looking so I could have a guess.

It's Merkrath's lair, clearly, with that devious trapped chest waiting to spring a Lightning Bolt at an unsuspecting party. Rescuing Haer'Dalis brings you there, and there happens to be located in a chamber off to the side of the underground sewers of Athkatla's Temple District. The monsters are salamanders. One fire, and one ice one in the game, if I recall.

I'm so cool. (Somebody shoot me).

Hey, everyone missed that I guessed Mekrath's lair too! LOL.

And thank you Crazee, I thought they were salamanders in there.

Okay, silly guess for the first picture:

PC, Mazzy, Minsc, and Mellisan. Smelly Melly will give up her claim to Bhaal's throne if PC tells her how she deals with the scourge of split ends.

Or:

PC, Thalia Thunderburp, Minsc, and Nalia. Nalia is trying to convince Thalia to have Samuel convert the theater in the Five Flagons to a day spa run by Athkatla's poor.

Or:

PC, Mazzy, Minsc, and Edwina. Edwina, resigned to her fate, is asking the PC for beauty tips to avoid becoming a Glamour Don't.

Now that I think about it, you meet different monsters in Mekrath's depending on experience. Sometimes they'll be Yuan-ti (which seems to be what I encounter most times, hence my answer) and sometimes they are other things.

Wow, that first one had me thinking of all kinds of silly things, trying to reconcile the focus on hair with a bald Minsc, whose part in this drama I'm determined to explain.

But I do have some serious guesses:

I'll go with the party of Alaja, Mazzy, Nalia, Minsc, & Boo. Nalia notices one of Alaja's locks has been cut, & offers to trim the other to match. Minsc points out that Boo's nest could use some new lining, & Alaja kindly agrees to donate some hair. Mazzy keeps track of how much to cut off, while Minsc & Boo look on with eager approval.


Either that or Nalia wants to braid the snippet into her own hair in a gesture of friendship, & Minsc is simply enjoying the show of camaraderie. Mazzy still marks the spot, or maybe this time Nalia already has her own snippet, & this one's for Mazzy. Perhaps Minsc is hoping for a toupee out of the deal too...

Oh, alright. People are guessing, what a relief! Ponapel, well, maybe, maybe... I see the second picture, was really easy. Well, well:
Answers to the second pic:
1. Yuan - Ti (Thanks to Sir_Carnifex, Epantiras, Amaurea, Ponapel and Crazee) But the first was Choo Choo!

Eh... You might want to leave out points. You add points and people start getting grumpy when they get wrong answers.
