For some reason, item descriptions have vanished and right-clicking on most items seems to be causing CTD. I've included my log - anybody able to explain?

EDIT: Problem seems to have fixed itself, or maybe when I switched down to 1024. I'll quicksave before checking item descriptions anyway in case it pops back up, but all seems well for now.

EDIT2: Okay, boys and girls, new problem. Now it definitely crashes during a banter between Dynaheir and Minsc - the one where he asks her to tell Boo a bedtime story. Anyone have a fix or barring that, a workaround?

Is that the line that goes: "Oh, I think Boo wants another story. Do you know any good stories, Dynaheir? Minsc has really run out of them." ? And then goes on between them about Dynaheir swimming in the lake and her clothes getting stolen, etc, etc, and everything works well until Imoen is supposed to chime in when Dynaheir begins her tale about the Peanut Castle?

Yep, that would be TS-BP that's broken your game. Unfortunately, the only resolution is to de-install, and then re-install (and then start a new game) after fixing the .d file for Imoen's banters. Your CTD will occur every time one of the BG1NPC Imoen banters is called (which will be regularly 'cause the darned fool girl just doesn't know how to keep her yap shut), because they don't exist anymore.
