EPANTIRAS ANNOUCES HER UPCOMING HUGE PARODY COMIC PROJECT!


AND NEEDS YOUR OPINION!!

Some have noticed the lack of new parody comics, one of the reasons is that I'm working on a HUGE parody project! I'm drawing a parody of a WHOLE game, not just some parts of it. No, it's not Baldur's Gate... but it's still a game supported by SHS otherwise I would not post this message here.
I'm not telling, not yet! +150% Hype effect!

I've already done 60 pages (!) and I'll draw roughly 60 more. Drawing them takes very little time, that's very good.

BUT I NEED YOUR HELP:
I plan to publish a page every Sunday (or Saturday), but where?

- Spellhold Studios: if you guys agree, I'll post this comic in a new topic (just to keep it separated from the other spoiler-free comics).

- Deviant Art? http://epantiras.deviantart.com I don't want to spam people who're not interested in my comic, especially since the comic will be full of spoilers. I also plan to "remove" the comic from the "featured" deviations (thereofore it won't appear in the main gallery) and put it into a separate folder (I hope it makes sense).

- A blog?? Someone pointed out that I should make a blog/personal website. There are many Deviants who have their webcomic on a blog and not on DA, but also many others who do the opposite. Using a blog/website could solve the problem about DeviantArt I mentioned above - but then I'd have to find a way to receive your comments (to feed my ego).

What do you think? PLEASE let me know your opinion!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!

Perhaps, finding a method of only allowing you to post in the topic, so you can have the comic alone and a comments thread elsewhere. Perhaps a locked thread, if you can still edit them if you posted in it.

That's a good idea, it could be like in the Scribbles on the Wall forum. I have some doubts about locking the thread, however, because I'm afraid that putting 60+ pictures in a single page would clog some Internet connections.

You can make two separate topics for your comic. Just make sure to put notice and a link to where you want your comments to be Alternatively, you can make it like flysoup or I have done it and have a single topic for your comic, comments and images.

Or (I'm so full of ideas ) make one topic with links to your images to deviant site and only update the first post. All the comments would go below.

I think Doxia's last proposal is the best in my mind. In that way, anyone could have easy access to your art from here, and there would be no traffic with internet connections.

If you really are worried about messing with your regular deviant viewers you could make a separate profile just for the comic.

I've thought about that, but I'm too lazy to manage two accounts ;-)
