I'm almost done with the de'Arnise Hold quest, but I'm wasn't able to kill Torgal, the last troll. I played it over a few times, but I thought it strange that he was able to survive all the damage. So I tried cheating and used Ctrl+Y to see if he died. He was still standing afterwards!   I tried Ctrl+Y with other trolls, and it seems to work as they fall down and I'm able to finish them off with fire or acid.

I used the SMM Auto installation with my game. Is this a known problem? Is there a way to solve this problem or go around it? Please help.

Here's my Weidu log attached (although I don't know why it's full of question marks...). I added some NPC stuff after the SMM Auto install.

But the problem wasn't solved for some reason... I downloaded the zip file from the list of patches which had 3 files in it. TORGAL.CRE, torgal.BCS, and KPTROL03.CRE. I extracted the files and then put them in the override folder, which then asked me if I wanted to overwrite the existing ones, to which I said yes. After that, I loaded my game which was saved just before I went down the stairs to the dungeon. I met Torgal, and he still doesn't fall down, even with Ctrl+Y. Am I doing something wrong?

Argh!~ I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to... But I'll try a save just before I entered the de'Arnise Hold from the city.

I used the 1.25 version.
