Reputation Question

Right now, I'm at 16. I don't know about killing commoners(since that always causes a riot for me). I don't want to keep Viconia for this play-through, and I'm trying to avoid evil paths in quests(so I can keep everyone in my party).
Is there any easy way to lower reputation without going overboard?

Change into the Slayer. That costs two reputation points. You can do it any time without killing anyone. Of course you need to have done Spellhold to become the Slayer. Is there any easy way to lower reputation without going overboard?

Personally I'd rather use Shadowkeeper than kill Mrs Smith, the friendly neighbourhood grocer.

So someone's already ported the BG1 NPC rep mod component. Why wasn't I informed, and why isn't it enshrined here amongst the likes of Lucy the Wyvern?Well, I heard that you can lower your reputation with the "Bardic reputation adjustment for BG2" -component in B!tweak mod installed. Is there any easy way to lower reputation without going overboard?
