This is some cool stuff, Fly! Love them both.

Glad you love them, it is a bit nervous to draw such a well known and amazing character as Drizzt. The claws are hidden in the shadows. Anything else? I guess the panther might look weird as well because I can't see any whisker's (long hairs from the nose). Oh...all those details right?

I love the Edwin and Drizzt portraits, truly magnificent! Drizzt's right boot looks a bit odd but hey, artistic license... still watching and loving your comic. If it is indeed printed, I'll slap it up
When I stare at the boot you mention then I must agree, it have some twisted oddities on it. Glad you love the comic, and to have it printed would be a dream come true for me. It is something special with holding a comic in your hands.

I chose to do this so that there wont be any confusing between the old and newly crafted/edited comic pages.
Other than that thanks you all for the constructive criticism and the inspiring words. Hope to meet you all at the
new Bhaalspawn site. The comic wouldn't have developed to what it has if it wasn't from the aid of you all.
All the best and many thanks/

I had to reply for that, and to say this: You're far too kind! You're mentioning my name in every post for the grammatical corrections and there is no need, honestly! If you just put a little font size 6 credit to me at the very bottom of an obscure linked page in this eventual webpage; it would still be more than enough.
Just post away without worrying about mentioning me, here on SHS anyways!
Anyhows, it's interesting to see that you leave the blanks for eventual dialogue/story from the very beginning, rather than a complete picture and then drawing over it the appropriate sized boxes as needed.

Great to see the artistic process fly.

You deserve all the credit mentioning you can get , due to the kindness of you sacrificing time to correct the grammatic and giving suggestions to alternate sentences. It really improves the comic. It is not always so that I have a dialoge completed in my mind when drawing a page therefore the blank speech bubbles. A bit risky to work like that but more fun
And here is Elminster, hated by some and loved by others
Elminster, the sage of Shadowdale, a high-level wizard, and capable of taking on almost any appearance imaginable. He is a natural storyteller, clever and charming man. Elminster rarely reveals the full extent of his true nature to anyone who is not an extremely close friend. He can portray himself as any stereotype he wants to assume, depending on what he wants to accomplish. He interacts regularly with the other Chosen of Mystra through a telepathic link and is an ally of the Harpers.

From what I can see, he's inking before scanning. It is interesting to see how you develop your work from sketch to full colour. I'll have to learn how to do that someday. Do you use a tablet, mouse, or something else?
There also a lot of people that use light blue pencils to sketch, then they Ink, and then, after scanning, they use photoshop to have the blue disappear.
There's a good example of this method here : http://www.boltcity....opper_tutorial/

I started out using a graphite pen for the sketch then Inked on a new paper using my light-table. After that I am scanning the inked page into photoshop then cleaning the page with a eraser and also making edits were needed. For example moving an eye that might look to be on the wrong place and so on. I make the inked layer into two layers and then I chose the multiply option so I can color over the inked lines. I am using a mouse when I color a page and when making edits/changes/redrawing inked lines. I have bought a tablet but haven't tried to learn how to use it yet. The dream would be to own a cintiq: http://www.wacom.eu/...?pid=90&lang=en but to be honest I like the traditional way using paper and ink. I am planning to start inking the BG Comic with a brush instead of pens since a brush gives smoother lines and more variety in the thickness vs. thin lines. But it might look weird to change the style in the middle of the comic...we will see what I do...

Nowadays I use a blue pen then I ink over the blue and scan in the page choosing lineart 600 dpi. The lineart option removes the blue. After that I change the page into rgb.

interfere. But I had time to doodle down another chibi npc. Hopefully I can get back into the splatting gory bg action as soon as possible so I don't loose myself into the cuteness swamps of the chibi maniacs.

Wow ... that's awesome
I am happy that you think so. When it comes to the chibi style I am not that familiar with it yet. I remember that I was really sceptical towards it in the beginning. But nowadays I am open minded to all the styles, there is much to learn from every style out there. Its all about sampling the things you like from each style and then in the end use them to put together something of your own.

These are really of a very high quality. Don't know if it means that much coming from someone who isn't an artist, but hey, it's great IMO! They're nice and simple (in terms of the look, i doubt it's simple to draw), yet very eye catching.
I am so happy you think they are of high quality, that means a lot to me! You are right, I find the simple looking ones to be the hardest to draw. Thank you for the inspiring comment, that helps me to keep on trucking with my artwork. I must get into a comic page now but these Chibi beings has haunted me the latest week Good speed to you friend!
