After research seems like it's impossible due to source code missing.

Well, I was wondering if it was actually possible to build something like the infinity engine, or like baldur's gate 2 in a web browser?
Would it be possible?
If you really wanted to, I'm sure you could put a fancy Web 2.0 wrapper around the gamecode so that it could appear inside a browse window.
But why would you ever do such a thing? It's not a compelling "on-demand" sort of game in the InstantAction.com mold.
