I'd like to add the new hammers to IWD1, as well as the old ones from BG2, using DLTCEP.

As I'm a beginner (showing in that I already messed up my IWD-Itemfile), are there any things to think about? Caveats?

Or even a hint for an easy way, perhaps? :whistling:

Thank you, anyway.
I already found out how to do it. I used Infinity Editor Pro (which kicks some serious a**), and made a throwing hammer for IWD1 (using the +2 throwing axe as a template). I also tweaked some of the other hurled weapons.
A Boomerang Hammer for a strong dwarven fighter/clerics just rocks... even without magic bonus (strength bonus for damage applies, though)... no need to turn undead any more... ^_^ everything is better than those boring slings, anyway...
Now I just have to learn how to WeiDU, and then... :woot:

This mod needs to be retranslated, I'm afraid :(. I had to change most of the item names and descriptions since Dark Horizons pinched the same items from Lord Delekhan. Also added some new component names and items for normal throwing hammers, etc.

I'm attaching the new english translation and all the old ones (Polish, Russian, German and Italian). There are only 30 strings, so it shouldn't be tough to translate, even from scratch. There will also be a new readme, but no one bothers translating that anyway :P.

For Russian, I'm not sure if component names (like the mod title in the first string) in Cyrillic characters show up in the DOS prompt or WeiDU log? If not, they need to stay in English or get transliterated into readable characters somehow.

Oh, also Leomar, there was an existing German translation that was rather different, so I just attached both... since it needs to be retranslated anyway, probably not an issue.

Here is the french translation - all credits go to Le Marquis (of the d'Oghmatiques).
He also translated the ReadMe of the v1. So if the new ReadMe is very different, maybe it will be worth to upload it later (without changing the version number)?

Yes, the v2 readme is probably a bit different. Still have to add the translator credits to that and probably delete the bit about Ashes of Embers since install order shouldn't matter for that now. So I guess just update it later probably. If you've already translated the Aurora readme (or most of it) the Installation and Troubleshooting sections are pretty much the same.

Note to self: also mention it is compatible with Classic Adventures
