Will we have to start new games of SOA/TOB in order to play the mod, once it's released?

I wouldn't have thought so, no. Of course, I'd reccomend that you do.

And when do you expect to finish it?

Some time in the future.

That's very abstract answer... Because sometime in the future could mean that this will happen when I retire on a penssion, so can you give me more specific answer... Let's say it straighter, do you expect to finish it by the end of the year...

Frankly, I think Quitch's remark was abstract because it was meant to be. i.e. s/he's not sure exactly when it will be finished... Some time in the future is probably the best we can expect to get.

The main problem with trying to give release dates for mods is that, as you progress in your work, you will inevitably run up against a road block, or go back and change large parts of the story, or think of new things to add, etc. If we worked for Bioware or Interplay, and were getting paid for our work, then deadlines would (likely) be adhered to. Since this is a hobby, and most of us have RL responsibilities (working full time, in my case), we cannot, and often will not, spend all of our free time coding. The best you can hope for are update threads that are kept up with, and then, out of the blue, when you least expect it, the mod gets released. Kinda like Christmas...only, not...lol
