I was trying to edit some of the PST dialogue, just out of interest as I have recently started modding BG2 and I thought it would be nice to mess around with Torment.
Anyway, I edited some of Annah's .dlg and then used weiDU to recompile it...but it didn't work.
I then just decomp. and recomp. the unedited Annah .dlg, and it still didn't work...so I then did the same with the morte .dlg and THAT didn't work.
(DANNAH.DLG and DMORTE.DLG are the files I refer to)
This is the message I got with the untouched DMORTE.D when trying to compile:
[ACTION.IDS] parsed
[OBEJECT.IDS] parsed
[Scrlewv.IDS] parsed
[SCRLEV.IDS] parsed
[BOOTLEAN.IDS] parsed
[TRIGGER.IDS] parsed
[Stats.IDS] parsed
[STATS.IDS] parsed
ERROR: no current parsing context
ERROR: no current parsing context
ERROR: parsing [/override/DMORTE.D]: Failure <"tl">
ERROR: Failure<"tl">
What does it all mean?
weiDU and Torment..

ah - good point.
Also, SCRLEV and Scrlev are the same, I just typoed Scrlev as Scrlewv....

Presumably obeject and bootlean are actually object and boolean too? Or is PST riddled with typos (I do recall some from the BGI IDS files)?

OK, try this:
mkdir to-wes
weidu --biff-get .*.ids --out to-wes
weidu dmortde.dlg --out to-wes
Now zip up the to-wes folder and send it to me. I'll take a look.

Fortune sent me the files, so I was able to fix her problem. WeiDU 126 handles DMORTE.D correctly. Or so I hope :-).

Hey thanks a lot !
However, I must point out; though it was very kind of you indeed to thank me in the weiDU readme, I actually had to email you from my friends email account and she is called Katey Ellis, not me!
My name is Luke Carroll, if you get the time to change it .
Also, sorry if this is my mistake, but in the readme you said "WeiDU can not compile DMORTE.D from PST." --shouldn't that say "now"?
