Minsc missing from Copper Coronet

Hi. I was forced to dump minsc while doing the planar sphere quest with Valygar, now when I return to the Copper Coronet, he's not there. I've checked his exact location in Near Infinity, but he's simply not there! I've also tried CLUAConsoling him back, but that just gives me some default version of Minsc.. usually from the beginning in Irenicus' dungeon. Any idea what might be causing this problem, and how to fix it?

Did you have any dialog with Minsc when you dumped him? Also, where exactly were you when you dumped him?Hi. Yes, I did. Dumped him in Valygar's cabin, asked him to return to the CC. I tried reloading and doing it again, same thing happens. I even dumped Yoshimo, went back to the CC, made Yoshimo rejoin, then ditched Minsc. What happened then was kind of funny: Minsc was at his designated spot in the CC. I saved, went out and then back in and he was gone. Also, when I reloaded my savegame he was gone as well...

Aha! I believe I have figured it out... Minsc was wearing an item which made him invisible when I left him, so he is, per se, invisible 
made me feel kind of stupid... and it's impossible for me to see him what-so-ever. Tried True Sight, tried dispel magic... don't work... I guess I'll just have to remove his item and THEN kick him. Sorry for the bother... isn't it kind of weird that I can't see him, even with true sight, though?

Those divination spells only work on enemies, and your spellcaster wasn't high enough level for the Dispel Magic to work.

Ok-- thanks... Fixed it by sunfiring right next to him, making him attack me, then ctrl+q'ing him back into the party.
