It was either Kaiden, Garrus or Wrex and in the end I chose Wrex for Krogan Power!

I voted for Tali-insanely handy to have around, and I rather wish she was romancable.

I voted for Tali-insanely handy to have around, and I rather wish she was romancable.
Found that alot of people wanted to romance her. Kinda surprising considering how young she is and the fact that she can't remove her suit. Also, if/when she did remove said suit who knows what you would be getting

Yep. I kinda get the impression Tali's actually a cyborg-it would make a lot of sense, given her people. And tech skills are just too darn useful.
According tot he codex they are a humanoid/sentient/flesh and blood race but due to living on their floatilas(sp) for hundreds of years they have no immune systems. Well, I'd wager that they have some kind of immune system but they are seriously out of date, so to speak.

I'm surprised Kaiden's got 3 votes; a lot of people dislike him. Not particularly surprised about Wrex, though; he's a couple hundred kilograms of pure awesome.
Been playing this a bit recently, and I have to say Ash is growing on me. I disliked her at first, but once you get to know her some more, she's not so bad.

Ash is, in my opinion, by far the best defined character in the game. She has a complex, outwardly tough, yet inwardly vulnerable personality that is quite endearing. Also, rather like Viconia in TOB, she can be persuaded to the "paragon/good" view as the game progresses. Therefore my vote for the best ME NPC goes to Gunnery Chief Ashley Madeline Williams.

My vote goes to Tali. As one of my coworker's T-shirts says, "Tech girls rock!" I just wish good Quarian armor wasn't so rare...
Wrex is a close second. That guy is awesome, and when I'm playing my Adept/Bastian, there's nobody else I'd rather have on point.

If it were possible, I'd expand on Tali's relationship with the PC--it was one of my favourites. She's definitely one of the more original characters out there, I think!

I wasn't sure if this was referring to performance or personality. I always take Ashley with me because she seems to be consistently effective in battle and she's got a decent friendship and romance. Her voice isn't irritating and she has human flaws.
Kaiden....bugged me. I don't know why, but I know his voiceover contributed to it (Yeah yeah, I know who it is) I like all the other NPCs too, especially Tali.
