I have a major bug after leaving underdark with those 3 new territories that are forests. whenever I try to enter any of them - the game either crashes or freezes while loading that territory

I have installed BGT 1.05b with the patch of 15 january 2008 (or what was the date)
BP 1.77
and Worldmap 6.6.1

nothing else.
as you understand - starting a new game is not an option now

I also cannot use my savegames in a clean BG2 as whenever I try to open the global map there the game crashes because of previously converted saves by bp-worldmap.

is there any way to fix this bug because I can't continue the game
or at least bypass it somehow (don't know... cheating the Lanthorn into the inventory maybe? or any other way... also I don't remember but are those forests are of a critical importance to the game or can I ignore them and still get to Irenicus?)

and another question - as I remember I can import savegames into ToB - so if I will import them now - will all states with companions (like friendship/romances) be transfered too (I've noticed that you can probably convert savegames to not include information from worldmap into tob part of the saves so I can play a clean ToB)?

cheers.

p.s. I also noticed that two of those forests were available before the time when they should appear on the map (worldmap 6.6.1 bug?), but I haven't visited them just to avoid any bugs.

I don't know about what "worldmap 6.6.1" actually does, nor have I used it.

But yes, you can cheat the Lanthorn: "CLUAConsole:CreateItem("C6LANTHO",1)
If I remember correctly, Bodhi drops the Lanthorn, so you shouldn't need to move into the forrestes.

Lastly, Yes, if you move the save file to ToB everything will be converted, except Yoshimo (That already has left the party if you had him anyway.)
What I've heard it can sometimes corrupt Romances, but just use: "CLUAConsole:SetGlobal(xxxRomance,GLOBAL,2)" and it will be fixed.

Hope I were to help :)

thank you - will try it as a last resort.
worldmap is a mod that totally changes the whole structure of bg2 original global map, makes it bigger and compatible with megamods. it also definitely adds the information about changed positions of locations to the bg savegames and that what may cause all these bugs.

also what I also afraid of is that one of those three forests is the one with the entrance to the elven city. so in case I won't be able to get to it even with lanthorn is there any way to "cluaconsole" my way into Suldaness-something. as I understand I won't need to change many variables to do that as it's a final sequence of SoA anyway.

EDIT> savegames seem to be importing well into the clean ToB. and global map opens without crashes.
if there won't be any way but to import savegames in ToB - are there any variables I should set via console for ToB, because I will miss the whole chunk of the game (like the variable that I actually killed Irenicus and other critical NPCs in a last battle if there are such variables, or some variables for Sarevok maybe)?

No worries, they are not used in ToB, instead of doing something like "IF KilledIrencius" then "BlaBla Message" they just have "BlaBla Message" since if you are in ToB, that means Irencius is dead already :)

Yes you can do CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR2500")

Hope it fixes for you!

thank you very much. I will try all this after I'll finish everything I can in the accessible territories.

No problems, you may also happen to teleport to a _weird_ location, in that case check the X & Y coordinates by pressing "X" where you should teleport to in Suldaness-something (I go with the same :P) and save them on papper or in your head.

In the previous room move to those coordinates, then teleport. Problem should be fixed for you, if there will be any :)

@skyway: Which fixpack are you using? The BG2 fixpack (Gibberlings3.net) or Baldurdash 1.6.x (Blackwyrmlair.net). I remember having worldmap problems with Baldurdash. Check this out as it may be some help.

It looks like you are missing some kind of fixpack after the official patch and before mods. If not the case can you post your weidu log which is a text document called Weidu. You can copy paste it when you post. It is in your BGII/SoA folder with all your override, data and other files.
Hope this helps.
