I'm having a problem where some of Nathaniel's audio isn't playing. Instead of the spoken audio at the beginning of banters and lovetalks I only get a selection sound, and lovetalk theme music doesn't play. All the files seem to be in the override folder. I checked the readme and I don't think I got the "cannot open output file" error it mentioned, but I tried running nathaudio.bat anyway and nothing changed.
PS About emailed stutter-bugged save games - a game where Nathaniel is actually stuttering, or just before he stutters?

I'm having the same problem. I've installed the new version several times but he doesn't say his lines, and the audio files are all there.
I used NearInfinity to check his speech strings to see if they were associated correctly. The right filenames were there, BUT there appeared to be a space in front of them, e.g. ( FHNMI3) instead of (FHNMI3). Modified that particular entry with NearInfinity and the sound clip played fine.

(Apparently I have nothing better to do on a Saturday night. )
Was puzzled by the fact that his TOB sound files are properly associated with the dialogue strings. So I rummaged through his files (ahem), and opened up all the .tra files. The sound filenames for the SOA stuff all had spaces before and after them [ FHNXXX ] as opposed to the TOB stuff [FHNXXX].
Used Notepad to remove all the spaces and reinstalled. Sound is working fine now. I'm not a modder, so I have no idea if what I did actually helped anything, but thought I'd post this in case it's useful to anyone.

Ah, thank you - I know what it is now. Apologies, and it'll be fixed in the next version.

Has this been fixed? I have just started up BG and BG2 agian and I was hoping to get Nat into my group for SoA and ToB since I loved him in SoA, but now when I play SoA with him, no audio at all except for selection sounds. I checked around and I see nothing wrong with the Sound files but then agian I suck at any type of coding. Can anyone give me a quick fix if this is not fixed already? Much thanks!

It worked okay in the newest version so I guess it's been fixed for the next release. For a quick fix, I think the solution posted by tree three posts up will do the trick.
I found out what caused it, its not the sound files cause they are fine, it says when I install it "Installed with warnings" I looked around and found a fix on here to delete the "modder" line in the Setup TPS but there is no line that says Modder. The word isn't even in there. Its weird though, I only have the patch for ToB installed and it doesn't say that when I uninstall the game and reinstall Nath on a fresh slate with no patch, but I still havn't tried speaking to him. Do you know the code to make him appear so I can speak to him at the beginning without having to go through the dungeon and then speaking to him? I will try a few other things as I wait for somone to post that code for me.

Well I tried it agian this time installing the patch didn't cause problems but I was to lazy to walk all the way out of the dungeon that I installed the Dungeon be gone mod right after I installed Nat, same thing happened.

I will wait for the next version and then if the problem continues I will try my hardest to fix it.
