So does that mean it's a proximity to Anomen thing rather than a Copper Coronet thing?

I've tested this out in the latest version and it doesn't seem to come up, and the bug around Anomen in the Copper Coronet seems to have gone too. With v4 I had the bug in the Copper Coronet but once out of there things worked fine. Perhaps you could try picking up Nathaniel first before going to get Anomen, and see how that works.

The idea of Nathaniel being so smitten that he can't walk properly around Anomen is really funny! Maybe Charname should just back off here. Or maybe Nathaniel is trying to send a subtle hint to the mod authors? ;) *nudge nudge*

If I'm reading the code correctly it tries to trigger an event when Nathaniel 'sees' Amomen - i.e. is within a certain distance of him. So having them in the party together will try to trigger it - only it won't trigger and keep looping.

I guess we'll have to wait for the fix. (I know I am)

We've been getting good results from our testers, so the next version shouldn't be too far off. Sorry about the wait, and thanks for being patient about these problems.

I started a new game and did not pick up Anomen at all. Nathaniel did not stutter and there did not seem to be any more problems.

I am really enjoying what I am seeing so far. :) So, cheers. Will wait.

Hehe - I've got to the point where I want to take Anomen in my party before continuing on.

At least in the main game. I think I'll start a new one and pick up the Luxleys and take them for a whirl in the meantime.

Hi... I have been waiting this mod for years! I'm glad that you have finished it. I almost cried when I'm finally able to download Nathaniel v4:crying:

I'm playing Nathaniel v4 and I got all the bugs :wacko:
1. my Nathaniel got the stutter in Copper Coronet, near Anomen. I dont pick Anomen so I do not know whether having Nathaniel and Anomen in my group will make the stutter worse.
2. music for the lovetalk is not playing. I checked the savegame using Shadowkeeper and his RomanceActive=1.
3. I delayed visiting Avery. At some time, Nathaniel ask me to visit Avery. I said, okay. And then, he said it again. And again. And again. I have to work hard to get him to Trademeet and meet Avery (and in the middle of my journey, I was ambushed by bandits! So, I had to fight them while Nathaniel repeated his line over and over...) I managed to save the game before meeting Avery. After I load it, his dialog went normal. But if I wait too long, he would repeat the line again and again. When I managed to make him talk to Avery, everything seem okay.

Is there something I can do or should I wait for v4.1?

It's really best to wait till the new version, I'm afraid. There are still some issues we need to sort out, and neither Feuille nor I have massive amounts of time, but it shouldn't be too long.

Will the new version require a complete reinstal? Or will it be an update files and reinstal (which won't affect existing save games) ?

To be on the safe side, I'd say you'll need to uninstall the previous version, delete it, install the new one and start a new game. Without doing that, I'm afraid there's little guarantee that the mod would function correctly.

I'm in the Underdark with Nathaniel in party and the romance is active. I just refused to sleep with Phaerae and Nathaniel keeps trying to initiate dialogue. When he does though, it's just to say that now is not the time to talk.

It's happened about 15 or 16 times now, about every 5 seconds or so. Here is a screen shot of what he says:

Is the setting which is stopping the lovetalks while in the Underdark, stopping the planned interjections? He hasn't made any other interjections while in the Underdark, I don't know if he was supposed to. (?)

And remember, never leave a naked person unattended.

Interestingly enough, this happened once when I was testing the latest version. I reloaded, talked to Phaere again, and it didn't come up the second time around. I tried a few times to duplicate the bug and couldn't get it to come up, so I wrote it off as something gone awry in my game rather than the mod.

Try reloading and talking to Phaere again, and after you decline to sleep with her wait around for Nathaniel to speak up before you leave. He should say something about how relieved he feels, but sometimes he doesn't say it immediately. Don't talk to him or anyone else until he says this line.

Very well then...

To add more bugs (I think these are bugs, not just from my game... Sorry if I'm wrong :whistling:)

1. I got a repeated banter with Keldorn, all three of them.
2. Latimer wouldn't show up, even after 10 days from meeting Avery. And no, it was not a-rest-till-10 days. I did many quests during those 10 days. Finally, I CLUAConsole him :rolleyes: After that, everything seems fine.

OK, first off I'd like to say the writing in the mod is really excellent, one of the best I've seen.

Second, I got the bug with Anomen as well. Spazzy walking, no resting/saving etc. Since kicking Anomen solved the issue entirely, I'm going to guess he has a broken banter with him or something.
