I seem to be having a problem with the anti-paladin class associated with the Tactics Mod. The class doesn't allow any weapons besides clubs to be wielded. What could be the cause of this?

about the only entry that seem to relate to your problem. i'd say it just does not go along with your kit though, not generally broken.
if you know how to use NI, you can manually edit your weapon restrictions for your class. kitlist.2da might be what you need to look at.

Upon further investigation all of the fighter classes can't use any weapons besides bows and clubs. I am not very knowledgeable of IEDSP so I'm not sure what all the numbers in kitlist.2da means. Could someone help me look into to this? I'm probably going to do a major reinstall but I'd like to track down the problems first.
While looking at the kitlist.2da I noticed that all members of class 2 under the Class column seem to be unable to use weapons, could this be the trouble?

I've tracked the problem down to the unusable column of the kitlist.2da file. It seems that this file is different from the default .2da file shown in IEDSP on the G3 website. I have uploaded my kitlist.2da. I'm not sure as yet what to do about the problem. Could anyone advise me what I should put as values for the Unusable portion of the 2da?

0x00040000 is the code for standard fighters under "unusable" all your fighters, some clerics and other kits don't have a standard unusable variable ... not sure if this is a bug or a differently working setting.
anyway, with setting 0x00040000 your kit in question will get the fighter ability to use weapons.

Hmm, interesting, could this be a possible bug of Refinements or Divine Remix? It seems that Refinements duplicated many of the entries when I installed the HLA tables. I'll post this thread on the refinements and DR topics too.
On second thought I'll leave the moving of this thread to the admins since posting the same thread three times could lead to some headaches.

Aha! I've got it, if you look at the duplicated WWArch and WWAnti rows they have the correct values for unusable item restrictions. I'm not sure what caused the problem but the duplicates have the correct values whereas the ones that show up in the create new character screen don't. I'm beginning to heavily suspect the problem arose out of installing refinements HLA's. Taking a look at the Debug file will help, I've just uploaded it. If you look find where refinements duplicates kits, it also creates the WWAntitf, Berserkertf, and other kits with the tf suffix. Perhaps the tF kits should have been the ones displayed instead?
I don't have any experience coding, so looking at the Debug file really dizzies my head.

While I can't comment on the specifics, I can verify that BGT v1.05, Divine Remix, and Refinements are all compatible with one another. I have all three installed currently and don't have any problems with weapon restrictions.

That's good, perhaps something I did during the installation conflicted with each other, although each time I've installed Refinements it would duplicate each kit in the .2da list leading to this problem... maybe it's an incompatibility with another mod? I'll start a thread on the refinements forum for details.

Refinements does a good bit of kit duplication and weap prof alteration - if you can't translate hexadecimal in your head, it BORs unusable with 0x20, which is the unusable used by the Undead Hunter (which has been moved to TRUECLASS). If you know how to read hexadecimal and binary, I can explain in more detail - otherwise, just trust it makes sense and that it works (either in general, and with the anti paladin in particular).
Looking at the kitlist, the troublesome combination is Archer of Sylvanus (from SPStuff) versus Refinements - HLA. Uninstall either of the two and it should be smooth sailing.
NB: no matter which one you decide to drop, delete your save game and start anew - sorry about that.
