Hello,

I get a CTD whenever I try to travel into Bonehill, can't CLUA in either, the other areas work fine however. Crashes at about 1/3 into loading. I'm using SoB 2.10 with a Megamod Install.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hmmm, what does BP balance remove from Bonehill? I guess the problem could be that ... when u load you the area, some cre files or something needed for the map it's not found.

I don't know BP Balance anyway so i can't help right now,

PS: i wish u good luck with so MANY mods installed ... ;-)

Tired of the same boring spawned creatures u face in BG? Try BGSpawn

Yes I kinda fear it might have something to do with BP balance, atleast thats the only mod I can think of that affects SoB directly. It should only remove overpowered items from SoB, but who knows...

But so far I haven't had any other troubles at all.
I was hoping there might be some way of dumping certain files into my override folder that might fix the problem, would hate to do the entire install again just to try it out without BP

Is visiting Bonehill absolutly necessary for the mod? The questgiver already gives me the option to return back anyhows. Can I still do the second part of the quests later on?

Yes, u can go back to Palltar and say that u want to come back. Later u will be able to do the 2nd part anyway. I'm sorry i can't help here 'cause i don't have BP balance installed, but i'm sure something is missing for that area if u get a CTD. What's the area code u cannot reach?

The area code is BH1000 which should be Bonehill if Im not mistaken.
But if the area isnt absolutly necessary for the quest I guess I'll just skip it for now.

And btw now that you've mentioned it, I do recall that when I installed the BP balance part of SoB I got a "Installed but with Warnings" message, so I guess BP balance might really be the culprit here.

Thanks for your help!

Was able to fix the problem by simply dropping the BH1000.are into my override folder.

Well I was able to finish Bonehill without much of a problem. However I encounted another CTD when entering BH1004(the cave with the beholder), again I was able to fix it through dropping the file into my override folder.
I was able to finish all the quests and such, so this solution seems to have worked really well.

The only real bug I encountered was that when I clicked on the siege weapons outside of Bonehill, I got WEAPON DESCRIPTIONS of either a magic axe or a magic greatsword ^^
Pretty funny, but I think that's what might've caused the CTDs in the first place.

I guess BP balance mod mixed something up there.
But I'm glad I was able to finish the first part of this excellent mod.

If you got descriptions of weapons instead of the text stating it looked like some of the timbers had recently been replaced, then your string references have been screwed by something, and you've got dialog.tlk problems.
