Hi,
Sort of complicated question...
I've successfully installed, on two computers, the Baldur's Gate Trilogy with Tortured Souls, Check the Bodies, Ascension, and a few smaller mods. I spent a couple hours checking for known conflicts and installation order, and as far as I know I didn't do things that resulted in blatant conflicts - I didn't install improved Illasera, I didn't install anything with faster cutscenes, I didn't install anything that nerfed anything, I installed the Worldmap second to last, and I did the GUI thing using a BGT gui. And yes, everything was patched and my BG1 was a full, fresh install.
So, I went to multiplayer on both computers, and everything works fine, except when we go to leave the wilderness area outside of Candlekeep. At first, it was just the second computer that crashed, then we both worked fine; I found out the worldmap installs were different, and uninstalled and reinstalled the worldmap, followed by the gui, on both computers, so that they were identical. Now both computers are crashing, even on a new game, at the same spot, with an error message that seems to be referring to map problems.
What can I do to try to fix this, or is this referring to a known or obvious problem? I'm almost positive it's a conflict of mods, but I'm not sure which ones to check.
If I have to I'll uninstall everything and reinstall and make SURE everything's identical, but is that certain to work?
Thanks,
~V~
