I feel really goofy posting after seeing wonnimchuna's great work, but ....

I've started to do a series of portrait edits of the cast of Heroes as the cast of BG2. Any suggestions on who could be cast as who would be greatly appreciated! I have some ideas of my own, but I'd welcome some input!

Heroes Portraits

Combining two of my favourite fandoms, squee! Isaac could be Coran, maybe, or even Haer'dalis with different hair? Maybe Ando as Yoshimo, Simone for Jaheira and possibly Mohinder for Valygar? I like Mohinder as Anomen, though, so it's a tough choice...

On a completely self-serving note, Feuille and I have always thought Peter would make a good Nathaniel...

I'm thinking I could toy enough with different images to make the same person two characters, so Mohinder as Valygar could work... but so could Nathan, since he's so intense. But I'm doing Nathan as Edwin, though I imagine Sylar would be good for him too. Can you see why I asked for input? Simone for Jaheira is a great idea. Thanks! It's funny you mentioned Ando for Yoshi. The clean-shaven Yoshi I have up already is a morph of Ando and Jet Li.

I'd be happy to do a Milo Ventimiglia as Nathaniel for you. I'll pm you when it's done.

And yes, I had to combine two of my favorite fangirl obsessions. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

They aren't typical BG2 style, per se, but because you've done one for most every character (is it actually every character? I'm too lazy to check...) they make a really nice set. Good job!

And I can't think of who Hiro could be, despite how much I desperately want a portrait of him. He's just so awesome... I'd say Dernel could be Valygar, but I'm not sure if he has the right fiacial structure. Maybe Nikki/Jessica as Viconia? She has got that certain malicious smile that fits Viconia down to a tee.

We're on the same page with Viconia, Crazee. Definitely. I'm with you on not being able to figure out Hiro. Now that I think about it, possibly, I could use Hot Future Hiro as Yoshimo?

Oh, and .... Mr. Muggles will be appearing as Boo. Gotta do it. Maybe Parkman for Minsc?

I was rethinking some of the women ... what about Candace for Viconia, Niki for Jaheira, and Simone for Nalia? I'm still up in the air about Imoen. I might do a different Claire, or maybe Eden as Imoen? Or, I could come to this season, maybe that new character Kristen Bell plays for Immy?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You have some of the only portraits I've seen that makes elves look like elves and not pointy-eared humans. I'm loving the slanted eyes. Very good work.

Niki for Jaheira does sound pretty cool...then again, between them, Niki/Jessica could pretty much be ANY of the women. :\ Extremely minor role, but Charlie as another possibility for Imoen?
Random suggestions - Molly for Alora, maybe? Isaac for Kivan (admittedly, this one is based largely on Isaac's own smouldering look and relationship woes.)?

I like the idea of Charlie for Imoen. For any fan of the show, I don't think she was too minor to recognize. I really liked her character, and her relationship with Hiro was super-sweet. Her character is really fitting for Imoen, too. Thanks for that idea!

I know my work needs tweaking, but I'm limited with what I can do on a laptop with a touchpad. I do most of my work in bed, so no hope of hooking up anything more fancy.

I know, it's sacrilege, but there's no hamster on Heroes Besides, Mr. Muggles has powers. I just know it. And he does look much more like a rodent than a canine, cute as he is....

There's a reason why dogs of this size are commonly referred to as "Rats"...they're closer to rodents than to dogs.

Yeah, it was a pretty minor nitpick (at in-game portrait size, nobody can really tell the difference to begin with) - at any rate, they look pretty ace right now.

Thanks, Miss Sakaki! I'm pretty partial to that one myself. I think she just looks like an adorable little trouble maker.

I did Sylar as Irenicus today, and that was a lot of work. I know that's there's tons wrong with the lights and shadows in some spots, but it was a whopper of an edit, and for not being an artist, I'm pretty proud of what I was able to accomplish (given the starting image...and Zachary Quinto's dark, dark facial hair )

I'm hoping to find a portrait of ZQ with a glowering expression to use for Sarevok as well. He might as well be all the villains
