Well, I was just happily clicking my way through and then I realized that Aran had given me a Chloe specific quest. And now I know nothing other than the words, "Rescue my daughter."
Can anyone help me out? What area is this suppose to be in, etc?
Err... I didn't pay attention.... help?

You can either search in the mod forum (not so hard to do, really ) - which would lead you to this thread, or I believe that there should be a journal entry somewhere that would have led you there as well.

Agreed with Tass, but just so this thread doesn't seem irrelevant.
You are to proceed to the Bridge District, look for the house near a fish merchant that will be filled with vampires who are holding Aran's *daughter* hostage.
The reason for the emphasis, is it is not always so, there is always the chance Abby (is that her name?) may have been, "replaced" with a spy.
Never happened to me yet, but I know it is a possibility, possibily if you take too long in getting there.
If she detects evil, then yes, she is an imposter, your best chance of finding this out though may be hampered slightly by a trigger of instant cut to scene sequence.
Just in case this happens again in the future again, and its only the conversation you missed, consult the Journal, or look back abit in your text box at the bottom of the game screen for further reference.
Have fun.
