I stumbled onto this and wasted alot of gold on getting it but when i past the first part of snowflake (the weird hut) the game crashes, is there a way around this or can i just ignore this quest without screwing up the rest of CtB? thanks.

Can't remember anything about the cabin in the next area. You can also get this area to open with the bartender at Delosar's Inn in Bridge District. Got Ice is the quest and you get the ice in a snow bank to the south in that first area of Snowflake Mt. The transition part where it crashes is nothing special anyway. You can CLUA there to see the awesome new house your hard earned money bought.

It's an item for the Got Ice? quest. You must talk to the barman in the Delosar's Inn in the Bridge district.
