Im sure im probaly just missing something. Im running the MegaMod with NEJ and everything has been working pretty good, made the transition to SOA and i got the portal key and the wand keys but when i try to use the portal to goto the 2nd level, it gives me a message saying

"You approach the portal, but feel you cannot advance further. Some invisable force prevents you from making another step toward the portal."

Whats going on? Im guessing since its a caption over the portal its a quest thing, feel free to spoil me, this is pretty annoying. Is this forcing me to goto Icewind Dale? I want to get Drizzt and Viconia first.

Yes. Go back to the room with the cages that you start in and then go North East and find another portal. You really don't want Drizzt yet or even Viconia yet. There is a must have NPC and some other good ones with great dialogue in NeJ2.
