Oooo! Neat! Hmmm, be careful though so you don't blend stuff together too much with the moss & vines.

Have you thought of creating maps for Myth Drannor? I think you have a lot of skill to create a ruined city.

I can't really commit to doing areas on demand but I will listen to any requests and if i really like the sound of it then I may make it.If I can't do them I will at least help you out or give tips etc if I'm able to.

Your work is very very impressive! I hope you'll keep an eye on our Resource Request forum in case of any area requests for mods. :D

Do not forget the Inn of Candlekeep or the escape route from the catacombs below (perhaps move mausoleum exit half into the outer walls?)
I mean it looks really wonderful, but if it going to replace the stuff you do need to show the spots where you can normally do those little quests in Candlekeep.

Still modding the Mod for the Wicked... It is a big project you know... And I got sidetracked (several times) a bit... sorry.

I actually think that this could be used as an altogether new location in the game as well - it is always better to have more, and this simply looks fantastic :)

BTW - BigPoppa - have you talked to SirBillyBob or anyone else? They might be interested in this map for the Classic Adventures ...

Tassadar88, I think Big Poppa has his own plans for this map. If you download the newest version you will see a lot of new maps have been included in CA. Right now we have just finished making Selguant. (It is bigger than Bauldurs gate!)I think SirBillyBob and myself have the map department handled for now.

Heya. My first port of call is to finish this area. Don't worry about key places not being there yet, still more filling to do. I also plan on doin a little area for deathangel after this which he requested help with. Until then, I can't really go hunting to help people but people can come calling if they wish. Neway, here's the temple. As you can see, it's clearly designed on the easthaven temple which I liked alot.

I'd really love to pester you with some ideas of mine, but the thing is, I see this beauty and I can't think of something sufficiently gorgeous. :)

But - can you tell us what you're going to set in this enchanted Candlekeep? A few hints? I am curious.

Thanks for the kind words :) N feel free to throw any ideas or questions my way. As for what I have in store for in innards etc. I have a few thoughts but am kinda free rolling making it up as I go along. The stuff I have planned though is pretty cool. Lots of unusual things that you haven't really seen b4 in IE games and with many ways to get things done, no linear quests.

Ok, that's pretty much the area made apart from little touch ups. Here's a chance to suggest anything else I could add (or get rid of as well) that is interesting and that might bring a quest in to play etc.

This image just lists the buildings and places that are key or that I have little quest ideas for.

Nice work. What happened to the infirmary in the southeast, and Obe's house (with the illusionary monsters)?

Also, on the original map there are three little shrines on the west wall that were a bit poorly implemented I think. Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast says this about Candlekeep:

The central, highest fortress of the Keep is surrounded by a terraced rock garden of many trees, where natural springs rise and bubble down the rocks in small cascades and pools. These beautiful grounds descend to a ring of buildings along the inside of the massive outer walls: guesthouses, stables, granaries, a warehouse, an infirmary, a temple to Oghma and shrines to Deneir, Gond and Milil.

Your layout might lend itself well to the "cascades and pools" if you can pull off the graphics ;).

Good stuff. Added the infirmary and the 3 shrines. I don't even remeber obe's house. It's been a very long time since I played through bg1. Maybe I should replay soon.

I don't even remeber obe's house.

It's about where #18 Monument is on your map (indicated as the Cellars on this map). Maybe you could move the monument somewhere else. You might want to swap #19 Pond and the infirmary too and put it closer to the wall, otherwise it looks like it might be blocking traffic :D.
