And how important is that patch? What does it do?
I'd probably just delete the whole patch folder since it is outdated now anyway. I was just reporting errors, so I tend to delete most fix patches when they are older than the current version of the mod. There some cases that still need an older patch, but you'd have to research each 1 by 1 to figure out (especially the _BWP compatibility folder).

There some cases that still need an older patch, but you'd have to research each 1 by 1 to figure out (especially the _BWP compatibility folder). You do know that when the patch is not apple-able(aka the .tp2 code doesn't fit to what the patch file expect it to be), it's not applied and so the BWS or BiG World Install.bat skips it and moves on, so there's practically no reason to have them removed from the computer, unless you wish to delete a few MB's space on a game that can take 30 GB's. And you can save more(10GB's ) by removing all the mod folders at the end of the install if it comes down to it.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

wth is going on when I cannot open the files with 7zip.Something between you and the SHS download center got changed. This something could be: forum software update, internet browser update, Windows update, archive tool update, ... update. There's a few reported files uploaded, but generally people just need to try things out and change some of the behaviours they have.

Hi, when playing the Rukrakia mod I run into this issue:
An Assertion failed in InfScreenWorldMap.cpp at line number 3069
Programmer says: Bad Area file, in are "RU6700" need entry point "ENTRANCE1"
Said message appears wherever I try to enter Black Forest which is a area exclusive of this mod.
Any help fixing it?
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
I tried a new 'classic' Baldurs Gate Trilogy installation (non EE) using the BiG World Install.bat and ran into several issues (SCS would install only in french, gerneralized biffing would prevent the installation process from finishing - i just get a pulse_bar.bat window that would never close - and some mods like romantic encounters for baldurs gate 1 cannot be installed successfully)
After doing some research on that I read that installation issues like those with bg1re were due to changed installation components in a recent mod update. After several attempts I could finish the installation process and start the game, but it seems that now some mods don't work correctly (BG1 Portraits for NPC that should have their BG2 Portraits etc) and I wonder if that might be due to the same problem.
Is there any chance on a BigWorld Project uptdate that covers these mod updates?
Thank you for your help in advance!

Item Upgrade includes Cespenar audio inside the main mod since v42 (released in 2017). Right now, BWP v20 is stuck when it detects Item Upgrade, because it wants the separate audio mod for Cespenar, despite it not existing anymore since 2017. This should be updated. If anyone looks for the Cespenar Audio in order to be able to proceed with BWP, here is the link i found... on the Weidu original website: https://weidu.org/item.html. Hope this helps.

This probably won't interest anyone, but I have some minor input on the inclusion of SpellPack (B6). For several versions the BWP guide has said it's incompatible with a bunch of other things, and so it's usually excluded from most setups. This makes sense because, when I installed it anyway, the game crashed the moment the Character creation menu was accessed (or on loading Candlekeep, one or the other, I'm not sure, might have been a different install).
The installer also makes you choose between 'all the other spell mods' OR Wild Mage addition (Rhialto).
However, to my amazement, I discovered that if I install any spell mods (from none to all) AND SpellPack AND WildMage, the game works. Whatever WildMage does, whatever it overwrites or patches (it's the last of these mods to be installed), it allows all the spell mods to work together. There might be spells that crash the game if you try to memorize or cast them in-game, but I had that problem even without installing SP and WM (either and neither).
I don't know if or how this will help anyone, but I figured I'd mention it. I enjoy playing with the SpellPack B6 graphics, and if others also want it, installing it and WildMage together seems to make both work.
This was in an 'all you can get' installation.
I attached the weidu.log. Its from a setup with the previous, V20.1 version of BWP, not the current version, but I don't think the new BWS could have broken this.

Of course we're interested!
I attached the weidu.log
Your attachment seems to be missing. If the file uploader doesn't let you attach your WeiDU log, you may use one of the popular pastebins.

Oops. Seems I forgot to click 'attach this file' after I selected it XD. I attached it now, and I'm attaching it here again.
