You're sure you're not talking about old, old Arnel's Nalia Romance and not de'Arnise Romance?

Well, if you did get a bug report with this romance(and not "Hey, I've installed twenty mods, and suddenly in Spellhold Irenicus won't take my soul!" - which has nothing to do with de'Arnise), it's best to report it on the forums so it could get checked and fixed.

Unless whistling fixes things, but I am not so sure about that.

Kulyok, Marvin is talking about Arnel's Nalia Romance, which we have removed from our BWP. We want to include de'Arnise Romance in the future. And be sure, if we get problems with that and find out that this could have nothing to do with other mods, we will post in the correct forum, like we does in the last time. ;)

FYI, the component layout of Rogue Rebalancing has been changed as of v4.0, so you might want to take that into account when dealing with batch installers.

Also, there have been some compatibility changes and improvements in RR v4.0. Most notably, the compatibility between Rogue Rebalancing and Refinements has been further improved, but it now requires a very specific install order. See here for more details.

Cool stuff aVENGER! I hope with the HLA changes for bards that there will not be incompatibilities with Check the Bodies. Although, come to think of it, I am pretty sure CtB uses its own spell name files for Evasion, Scribe Scrolls, Alchemy, and Set Traps. I will need to be totally sure before I install both.

I'm not sure what CtB does to the Bard HLAs, but I can tell you that Rogue Rebalancing doesn't alter any of the original SPL files (i.e. SPCL913.SPL is still unmodded Evasion even with RR installed) because it uses its own custom files for the HLAs (i.e. RR's Evasion is RR#THL03.SPL). All 2DA files which are modified by RR are being patched of course. In fact, as of v4.0 Rogue Rebalancing doesn't overwrite anything at all, literally every single file (whether SPL, ITM, EFF, CRE, PRO, STO, IDS, 2DA...etc.) is now being patched. ;) Feel free to check the TP2 for more details.

@aVENGER

Mostly CtB adds quests for classes and the rewards are vanilla HLA's but it does attach some globals to some like Tracking for other quests. A bard will still be able to get evasion, scribe scrolls, alchemy and some other special ones but those are given through dialogs and scripts. So they should still be fine even if CtB uses original spell names with the patching. I like that a lot!!

I have just one quick question.
If I don't install NEJ, do I still need copy worldmap.vmp to the overide folder for the installation of DrizztSaga v1.0?
Thanks!

Old topic... use the new one, and it's instructions.
Now to the question, I would say no... but you better use the new configuration with patches for the DrizztSaga v1.0, with this(the patch overwrites the files in the mod, but it needs to be inserted before you install the DrizztSaga v1.0) and Worldmap 7.1.

Actually I installed the MODs based on the BWP5.7 instruction.I just forgot to copy the worldmap.vmp before install the DrizztSaga1.0.But when I test the MODs and use console command move to F_0111 area of DrizztSaga,it show me I was in the De'Arnise Keep area I moved before, while also no other areas nearby for DrizztSaga showed.

I got it.I didn't install the component Convent Old Savegames in BP_BGT_Worldmap.So I need to creat a new game to test.

I have one question concerning the latest install batch file.

This line: %NNS% %IFT% Call %INST% Tactics "2 4 5 10 16 19 21 22 23 25 34 35"

I think the check should be %NS%?

If you let it like it is, it will install component 10 which is incompatible with SCSII (see manual). All the other components are allready included in SCSII (according to the Manual) and therefore should probably not be installed. Thats why I think %NS% is more appropriate.

Furthermore, following the same logic, I think %IFT% Call %INST% Tactics "1 3 6 7 8 9 11 12 13 14 15 17 18 20 24 28 29 31 32 33 36 37" should be replaced with following components "1 3 6 7 8 9 11 14 15 17 18 20 24 28 29 31 32 33 36 37" and those left out shoul be included in the above line because they are allready included in SCSII according to the manual.

Davor

Ding0's QuestPack v2.3 seems to have other numbers in my case than those used in the manual and batch file...

For example: Call %INST% d0questpack "11" should install [Improved Oasis II]? Dialogue & Combat Enhancement] so ni fact it should be Call %INST% d0questpack "9"

Davor

I think here should be put a check for BP also:

%IFNS%TDD.exe Call %INST% BG2_Tweaks "2240 2250 2260"
%IFNS%TDD%IFNIF%Divine_Remix.exe Call %INST% BG2_Tweaks "2280 2290"

Reason is that if TDD is not installed, but BP is, BP Level-50 ruleset will be installed (which is based on TDD). This installation will probably introduce an inconsistency in the rule system.

Any idea where I ca find the details of this BP rule system?? I don't even know why one should perefer it more than the bg2_tweaks rulesystem...

SCS+Tactics I:
%NNS% => SET NNS=IF NOT EXIST BWP_No_SCS_AI.
So things only get installed if scs will not be installed.

SCS+Tactics II:
There are a lot of components that don't get installed because they look out for conflicts theirselves.
Here's what's left from tactics, which is less than "called":
~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #3 // Improved Sahuagin City: v25; Lol's Update to v26
~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #22 // Smarter Dragons in SoA: v25; Lol's Update to v26
~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #26 // Fighter-Class Archer Kit: v25; Lol's Update to v26
~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #27 // Anti-Paladin Kit: v25; Lol's Update to v26
~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #32 // Mike Barnes' Improved North Forest: v25; Lol's Update to v26
~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #33 // Mike Barnes' Marching Mountains: v25; Lol's Update to v26
~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #34 // Slightly Tougher Demons: v25; Lol's Update to v26
~SETUP-TACTICS.TP2~ #0 #37 // Streamlined Trolls: v25; Lol's Update to v26

D0Questpack numbers:
The tp2 from D0Questpack is heavily patched by the BiG World Fixpack.
If you ran that, you'd come up with some different (corrected) numbers.

BP + Rule 50:
Most likely BP is left out because it takes care of business itself (as with tactics/scs):
FORBID_FILE ~data/ROT-RULE.bif~ ~You have ROT installed, so you already have this~
FORBID_FILE ~data/TDD-RULE.bif~ ~You have TDD installed, so you already have this~

THINK! - It's not illegal.
