1Sylm-setup.exe has locked up three times. I just editted the .bat file, and deleted everything from 1sylm-setup.exe up, and basically I'm continuing the install that way.

I'll post a log when I'm done with this latest attempt.

1. I met level 7 Kiyone in Beregost whereas she should be in Alkathla(Goverment District) and she was level 7 - send her to wait for me in the district

Kiyone belongs to BTL. I'll report this in the corresponded forum.

2. Few of the Hogoblins added by NTotSC/DSotSC to the first area after candlekeep are neutral even if you attack them

In the German forum it is mentioned, too. Could you speak with the neutral Hogoblins?

3. During the installation of SCS2 v 7 components Improved Beholders and Improved Bohdi did not install due to errors(couldn`t find some files ...

Leonardo is looking into it. If I know more, I let you know.
What happens if you try to install this both components, now?

I installed them manualy it took me a long time but i wanted to do it myself to be sure i`ll install what i like and to know when errors arrise.
no i didn`t have any problems with Sylmar Battlefield it installed corectly and without any errors during install only errors that i had seen were ones from scs2

I don`t know which mod adds this but i don`t think it should be happening yet. When i rested in Nashkel i was attacked by "Rhialto the Marvelous" Wild Mage highly out of my league. I think he is from Bg2 part of the game but i`m not sure about this. Had to ctrl+Y him because i didn`t stand a chance against his magic.

And others have no problems installing it, too. I don't know, where your problem could lies, enderandrew. Sorry. The simplest way is, to download it from our linklist and try again.

In my BG1 part, Montaron's most powerful vanquished was Rhialto. There really is no need to rest in the wilderness if you stay on the paths. Kill the first mage at the Friendly Arm inn and do some other quests. I was able to tackle Rhialto that way when my guys were level 4 and I had 6 NPC's. Another reason to waiting to rest until inside an inn is to get Khalid and Jaheira. I finally rested outside the mines and he popped up and Jaheira charmed a wolf. I guess I was lucky or really good

The other point is, if you flee and try to stand Rhialto magic attacks, one of his spells will destroy him. Yes, one spell of him fizzles and the result is a nice transforming. After that you get his nice treasure.

I'm little confused. The first is an entry of the Install.bat and the following are entries of the BiG World Fixpack.
BiG World Fixpack updated your Setup-Files, but have a problem with Sylmar Battlefield. So far all is fine.

Like I mentioned above. Download and try to install Sylmar Battlefield again. Don't use the Fixpack anymore. The Fixpack was used only before the Install.bat.

Have you tried to start the game? Can you play BG?

Leomar: Runnig worked prety well didn`t think of that thx. I have 4 level 3 chars right now so they were not able to tackel him normaly and one of his spells usualy killed about half of my team.

Just keep running. This guy is insane!
After a while he turns himself into either a squirrel or a wolf.
Make sure that you killed all the enemies around you in order to not running into any unexpected monsters!

I ran fixpack first, and then install afterwords. I can start a game of BG. I just started a game, and I'm running around Candlekeep.

had some same problems - sometimes the files cannot update itself (even if it should) i don`t know why is it so but replacing the file with newest weidu setup does the trick

Hello to all,

I am currently getting ready for another clean install of BWP 5.2. I have a few questions that I am hoping someone can answer before I start so I have less chance of repeating my mistakes that I made in my first attempt.

I will only be installing BG2, TOB and BG2 patches and Mods.

1- The BG2 fixpack tp2 located in the Big World Fixpack. There is no instructions for it's use in BWP 5.2 so I am wondering if you use it at all times even if you are installing Baldurdash v166 as well.

2- For Instruction 22.12 Iylos v1.1. If you are using Iylos v2.3 instead of v1.1 Do you still use the fixes in the Big World Fixpack. (ie. ascension.d file) The BWfixpack.bat still uses it.

3- For Instruction 23.02 SCSII v6. If you are using SCSII v 7 instead of v6. do you still use the fixes in the Big World Fixpack. (ie. SCSII tp2 file and the celestial.tph file). The BWfixpack.bat still uses them.

4- The Nathaniel-SOA fix (ie. FHNAT.bat) There is no instructions for it's use in BWP 5.2 so I am wondering when you use it.

5- Hoppy's Yeti fixes. Can you copy the Bams after the Mega install is finished, including End Biff, or does it have to happen straight after BP is installed.

Yeah, I died about 20 times before eventually cheating my way past him. I usually died in 2-3 rounds, and I don't believe I ever even hurt him once.

I've gone through Candlekeep, Gorion's Resting Place, Crossroads, Friendly Arm Inn, and Beregost so far. The only problem I've noticed was in that basement in Candlekeep where there is a tutorial on party combat, I could do the first round, but anytime the second group of monsters was spawned, it would CTD.

The game is more challenging than I recall, and I'm sure that is due to the boat-load of mods. I also recall coming across an exploit in BG1 that made it really easy, and that is resolved.

Very early in the game I pick-pocketed Algernon, and I got Baldur's Cloak which was CHA +2, and let me do charm person pretty much at will. I don't even recall if there was a limit. I'd charm monsters all day long and have them fight each other (if I recall). I pick-pocketed him again, but this time he had Algernon's cloak, which gave the CHA +2, but no charming.

I'm only level 3 (haven't had much time to play sadly), and quickly I've wandered into monsters that can only be affected by magic weapons, and I sure haven't gotten any yet. There are some for sale, but I haven't gotten any as loot yet.

Lastly, I'm not sure if this is a bug, or intentional, but I have a bunch of bandit scalps. I remember selling them to someone in my first play through, but couldn't find anyone, so I googled up a walkthru to double check. It says Officer Vai is the person, and she should be in the Jovial Juggler. I've gone in their like ten times and haven't seen her yet. There are some evil lookin' gals in one room at night who summon a demon if I talk to them (pretty sure that is new), but no Officer Vai.
