How long took it, to install the "BiG World Project" on your computer?

Greetings Leomar

Quite a while actually, but many times, I walked away from the computer, and then it was stopped waiting for my next input. There are many pauses that don't seem entirely necessary, just waiting for me to hit enter. There are several pauses to open readme files, and I'm not sure how that can be handled better.

I did see the post about RR, and if I did try to experiment, I was going to just try moving RR, however it would just be a simple move. I don't know enough about all the mods to really understand exactly where everything should go in proper order. I was considering just attempting to move setup-rr to the bottom of the "HLA-TABLES CHANGING MODS" group.

Also, I just noticed that you added English translations and updates again to the link list. That is very helpful. I didn't realize for instance that WtUE would intentionally crash the game. That got deleted from my mod list right away.

My next question (I know I have tons!) is what about all those BGTGerSndPatch errors I was getting during the BGT NPC Soundpack install? Should I be concerned about those?

I'm afraid that wouldn't work, since Refinements still has to be installed after Rogue Rebalancing if both are to function properly when used together.

Instead, I'd suggest trying to move Divine Remix and Oversight before Rogue Rebalancing (and Refinements) but I'm not sure what implications that would have on the HLA compatibility between Refinements, Divine Remix and Oversight.

Thanks for your additonal information. Leonardo is testing in which order your RR ist best placed.

A Megamod does not mean that you can play all of the mods or all of their content,
but you have more choices or paths through the game.

That is a problem between the batch-files and some mods with their readme-files. DOS is not the best program for that. But we have made it useful as best as we can. For v5.2 you get batch-files again, but for v6 we publishing a new installation tool made in GUI. Then the installation will hopefully run without any input.

See aVENGER's new post.

Yes, we have added english text for our link-page. So german and english users can look at it.

My next question (I know I have tons!) is what about all those BGTGerSndPatch errors I was getting during the BGT NPC Soundpack install? Should I be concerned about those?

We are checking this at the moment. Please wait a little bit for an answer. Thanks.

If anyone 's got the will to do so, he/she could contact me and translate the whole linklist into other langages.

Ignore them!
The mod is trying to convert something that has already been converted, but this won't be a problem. (i.e. the function is idempotent)
By the way, if you don't have german installation you won't need that mod anyway. It should only be applied on the german version since it fixes some speech volume issues that are specific to this version.

Thanks! Should I delete the entire BGT NPC Soundpack?

Has anyone figured out the best place for this yet?

What about SCSII-v6? Anyone tested it yet?

Any idea when we might see the next version of BiG World?

If you're considering a new install of BiGWP, you definitely wanna wait for 5.2.
It isn't that far away

See Marvins post.

Yes it was tested, but in SCSII v6 are new bugs. The new version v6 will reworked and needs some time.

Yes, but as Leomar said, it needs to have a modified tp2 for it to work properly with all and every file in the rest of the BWP files.

I'm still confused. How can anyone have tested v6 (which I thought was what Leomar said) when I haven't released it yet?

I think it's simply a typo. I have problems with v5 and am waiting for v6.

v6 has been finished for a while. The downloads just aren't up on the website yet, but the author has given copies out to a few people.

Hello David Wallace,

sorry for the misunderstandings. Sure we are testing v5 at the moment not v6. Like Leonardo said, it was a typo. enderandrew have wrote v6 in the last posts and I took this version number over. Sorry for that.

@ enderandrew
Where you have got the infos, that v6 are out??? Or is it a typo, too?
I've seen your post.
