Modlist has Improved Battles, here(thanks to Michael and his portal :) ): http://www.fridgecom...moonfruit/mods/

As for cliffette's mods, yes, they are currently unavailable, but I've heard somebody had plans to re-host them somewhere nice(or not so nice, I cannot know about that), so, please, just wait a bit.

Already posted about that over TS Tech board but since its going to be a Big World mega install ?

Already installed (NP exepted for two line of warning with TTSQ)

If anyone is still looking for the NeJ2 versions 4.2b and patch etc. it is still downloadable from this link, believe it or not. The old link was cut and Jarno posted this in another forum for someone and I saved it to favorites.

Old NeJ

Enjoy

Any support for this version must be related to Big World Project and be sought here at SHS and not the BlackWyrmLair as this version is old and unsupported anywhere else.

Am I missing NPCKit mod from the instructions? It is supposed to accompany NPCTweaks I thought at least for Anomen's quest. In my previous BWP install with NPCTweak, Anomen's armor and helmet are unusable and I saw in the instructions for 5.1 that NPCKiT is recommended to go with the Tweak but no install placement. Help?

As you can see with the help of our instructions v5.1, no Kits-Mods and no Kits by mods are installed through us. We have only tips included when you should installing them. But we are working on it to include an own chapter for charakter-kits in one of the next versions of our instructions.

Thanks seden and Leomar. I did go ahead and install pretty late in the order already, I just wasn't sure if there was a better placement by the Big World Project. I will let you know if it is compatible as soon as I am clear.

No, I did not install all the mods, but the ones that I left out where the extra NPC mods. Sometimes the game is giving me the bluescreen of death, but not often.

Have you followed the instructions v5.1?
Have you tried to install with the batch-file Install.bat and occurs the same error? If you have not tested it, please try it. After the installing of TS you can break the Install.bat with "CTRL+C" or close the DOS windows.

A few more questions.

Looking in the install.bat I notice you have Mid_Biff REM'ed out, as well as ItmValueTweaks. Are these safe to use?

What about the following mods:

AzenMOD
banterpack
BG1NPC_Portrait_Pack
BWL Contest
ImoenRom
NPCKit

"Mid Biff", "Itm Value Tweaks" and "BWL Contest" you do not need in your MegaMod installation. Let them out.

The "AzenMOD", "Banterpack" and "ImoenRom" are not urgent for the moment. See chapter "25. CHANGES AFTER THE TRANSITION FROM BG1 TO BG2". There you can read all you need to know about the Post-Mods. Install them with the Post-Install.bat only after you have played BG1.

"BG1NPC Portrait Pack" and "NPCKit" are not included in our instructions at the moment.

I noticed that, and was able to download a few mods I couldn't before. Thanks for that!

At the same time, I'm at a complete loss with this project. I've done close to 10 reinstalls the past few days, wiping everything clean, following the instructions to the letter, and each time I get tons and tons of errors as the automated installer runs. In my BiG World Debug.txt file, it looks like I've got 900 errors or so.

Many of them are compiled. It looks like important stuff like NeJ and BGT didn't install, which in turn caused a bunch of other stuff to not install properly. I downloaded the correct versions, extracted them, and just ran the automated installer. This isn't horribly complicated. I'm not sure what exactly I've done wrong. I've zipped up that file, and my Weidu.log file. Can someone please help me?

Thanks!

I just took a look into your WeiDU.log because I was curious how you were able to get any error at all. The answer is quite simple: You have not installed one essential mod: Baldur's Gate Trilogy - Core 1.05b. Without that mod no megamod is possible.
Also you have installed NEJ, but not the BGT-NeJ2 Compatibility Patch. Without that patch NEJ doesn't work within BGT. You should also install BGTNEJ together with NEJ.

I assume you have installed again and again in the same main folder and then deleted some necessary files. Install from scratch instead. This means clean install of BG2, insert all mods (that's why I suggest to save them in a separate folder, so you can copy the whole bunch into your SoA folder) and then run the .bat files v5.1. Doing so you cannot fail.

For some reason you got this error:
ERROR: [BGT/Modify/CRE/IMOEN.CRE] -> [BG1CRE] Patching Failed (COPY) (Not_found)
Normally this doesn't happen.

RE: Chloe Post #452 and # 462

Maybe it's simple, but I must recognize, I don't have the knowledge how to handle this. If someone changes the files, I will add them, if not, it will remain as it is.

Every time I completely uninstalled BG1 and BGII, and wiped the folders clean. Then I'd extract all the mods again and start over from scratch.

I noticed that it says BGT isn't installed. However, I'm pretty sure I downloaded it and extracted it. I thought the automated installer installs everything. I don't believe the instructions said to install it manually.

Let me double check.

Yep, I downloaded and extracted BGT - Core 1.05b. and BGTNEJ.

However, BGT failed to install properly. Here is the relevant portion of BiG World Debug.txt where it shows BGT failing to install.

http://pastebin.com/m4a4fd27a

The long and short is that it fails specifically here:

ERROR: [BGT/Modify/CRE/IMOEN.CRE] -> [BG1CRE] Patching Failed (COPY) (Not_found)

We have found the error. The TP2 in the packed version of "BGT NeJ2 v1.0b" is wrong. We change that and inform you, when it's done.

@ enderandrew

Question:

Have you used v5.1?

Have you followed the order by each installation:

1.) Unpack all needed mods in a separate folder (only at the beginning)
2.) Install BG1 and BG2
3.) Copy the unpacking mods from the separate folder into the BG2 directory
4.) Run the "BiG World Fixpack.bat"
5.) Run the "BiG World Install english.bat"

There are important notes by unpacking your mods (Point 1). You can seen them in the updated Link-List, now.
Some mods need in addition after the unpacking manual things to do. Without this, your files are not ready for point 4 and 5.

Many greetings Leomar
