Not only that, but Thanatos hasn't sent me his Dasypus WeiDU material, and he is due to leave today. If he forgets then I will personally hunt him down.

How does dasy put on this ring if I may ask, does it change shape like all magic items do in the game or does he somehow slip it on his claw. An easy way to beat infernal guards is zone back and forth, of course if you can't do this just charge headfirst and hope your clerics can raise after or during the fight. I can try and look for a WeiDU inputter if you still need, hopefully we won't need it though my tob cd is just collecting dust right now so if you need anything else just tell me.

Perhaps the ring changes size like in LotR? Cuv?

This one involves a lot more dialogue, several scripted events and some new AI. There will of course be a full history run down included.
Difficulty will pretty insane I suspect. I don't think numbers have gone down yet, but resting restrictions will be in place. We're starting to enter balance territory.
The beta which comes after 3.0 should see all non-NPC elements in place, including full implementation of our custom difficulty feature. For those who missed this, you will be asked at one point a question about challenge. Your answer to this will determine the quests difficulty setting.

I've been plugging away at the current version when I've had time ... not as much as either you guys or I would like though.
Anyway sleep report:
I've been able to sleep without problems in the demi-litch lair & Dasy's lair once cleared. I haven't tried in the mage cult area yet (oversight) or in any of the Strom area's (will get there in the next day or so). In the main entrance area I was able to sleep about once in every 4-5 trys. I'm not sure that it matters but here are to XY co-ords in ARRTW1 where I was able to sleep
X Y
3313 2546
1469 2466
2468 695
711 694
In all of these locations except for the last I was able to sleep but was ambushed on a subsequent attempt. In x=711 y=694 I was able to sleep twice but was ambushed on a third try.

New AI will be:
Vamp mages
Cult mages
Beholders (all types)
King Strohm
This will be pretty raw untested stuff. Our closed beta will try to ensure that the quest doesn't trip overitself at any point (thus becoming impossible to progress), but the rest will be all yours.

That's good about the demilich tomb and the lair. The tomb is one of the safe-to-rest areas, and the lair is the end... and resting there after the dragon is dead is understandable.Anyway sleep report:

I will look at ARRTW1... since resting is sometimes interrupted, it must be simply the rest interruption probability that needs adjusting. I will set it to 100%.
Thanks for the report. Can you check resting in all the new access areas please?
Wight Cave
Dungeon hallway... and all the side chambers. Nevermind the actual KS tomb, that has been reworked and you will see it in 3.0

Looking forward to it. While I will download ASAP it is likely that I will wait untill the weekend to start testing. I am planning on doing a reinstall prior putting on that version & those things always seem to give me problems & take forever.Testers can expect to get their hands on 3.0 around the middle of the week.
You have any preference between Baldurdash & the Baldurdash remix? I'll be doing that, Tashia, Kesley, Ascension WeiDU, & RtW.
I'm still horribly tempted on that Item Upgrade pack just so I don't have to talk to Caspy as much if nothing else, but you've made your feelings clear on that Quitch.

Also on my "to-do" list when they come out are: Keto, Rowan, the Bio NPC Flirt Pack, and the FW de'Arnise Romance. However I have a feeling that RtW is likely to be out before most of these are ready.

ARRTW14 (first side area) slept on the first try but wakened twice after that.

I also want to note that on my first try I found this area somewhat difficult. However my current party slept walked through. Vic (currently 37th level) was able to use her turn undead power to devistating effect against most of the hive residents.

This release is partly technical, adding more areas and sorting out more scripting, as well as dialogue orientated. Over 40 000 words of dialogue will be added by this Beta, and I suspect it's closer to the 50 000 mark, though a lot of that is the boss. Some of this dialogue may be unavaliable.
While the custom difficulty question will be in place, this is in no way an advancement on balance. While resting restrictions are being sorted out, we have not yet (to my knowledge) changed monster deployments. This will be done for the next beta when we'll be trying to finish all the quest elements.
After that, it's simply a matter of sorting out the NPC.
