It was a problem somebody had before, that the proper spelling of

=~InParty("Kiyone") InMyArea("Kiyone")~

was instead

~=InParty("Kiyone") InMyArea("Kiyone")~

and so the trigger wouldn't work

So now I know what the typo is, and what the correct one is, but I have no idea how to go into the program to correct it.
is there some sort of program I could download? or is the mod completely unworkable for me? I've tried reinstalling, and re-downloading, but the error is still there for some reason.

Maybe a good opportunity for a fixed release soon? Just installed the mod, forgot about the trigger, and now I've got to edit the file and reinstall.

Downloading the file from the Download Centre, I am not able to locate this line in any of the installation files (I search "=in" case-insensitive)

Which file is it in or was this from an earlier version of BTL ?

Version 1.30, according to the readme. It was in interj.d, line 1566, in the middle of the CHAIN below:

Thanks, got it.

Now in the process of reinstalling my BG2 after my HDD got wiped. should be about 3-4 more days before I get the CDs from a friend.

Heck it, updated the file to fix the ~=InParty typo. No other changes have been made. Absolutely NONE.

There should be more updates soon though, hopefully in about a month's time.
