Sorry, been in something of motivational jam about drawing stuff since ~christmas.
I'll try to get the megom thingy done but might take a while longer before I get myself to it. :[

Sorry, 'fraid not . Between job and school work, I've been trying, somewhat in vain, to build up the motivation to finish up the coloring for my drawings. I'll admit that I'm much more enthusiastic about doing line-art than coloring. Since my last update, I've done little more than think over how I'm gonna color the other two (I think the ninja'll be fairly simple, but the wu-jen's outfit is calling for designs I may not be entirely up to). However, since I've had a bunch of ideas for other unrelated drawings swimming in my head that I wanna get to, maybe that ought to serve as motivation to finish things up here so I can get to the other things I wanna do, eh? Hasn't quite worked out, yet, though :/ .

Not sure how many of those monsters/characters you intended to have illustrated, but, once I'm done with my drawings, you might have to settle with what you've got here (and whatever you may have gotten from elsewhere) for now.

Real life first, and I am familiar with lapses in motivation. Don't worry. Probably when I put the first stuff online, I may attract more stuff eh

Anyway, I'm getting back to other creative stuff now, so I'll probably take up them pencils sometime here. :]

And how is Shae doing? I still very much would like to see the three part of the Anarum group finished
Or perhaps Epantiras would like to do an experimental restless (= more metal and gun - think of some of the computer games out there)? Perhaps not classical enough?

Uhm, let me see... I can do some sketches and show them to you - if time is not a problem ;-) I'm working on something like 5 projects at the same time XD

Holy, that is a lot. Time is never an issue as you all know. I am just excited to get drawings.

Very, very slowly though still going Unfortunately I'm still inking, but nearly done. I'll post a preview then and ask about colours.

Okay, updated the original posts with things that are finished and taken. I hope I got them all. It has been a while after all since I updated it. (feel free to note mistakes ).
I haven't updated to the new request Epintras. Will try to do so this evening.

Thanks for joining again in the fray and yes, inkly blob of doom is yours

As for the specs.
I am afraid though it looks cool in a way you slightly missunderstood a line in the description.
The triangle of the eyes is when you look at the top down view on the creature.
Thus it's eyes are not one side (lending him all-around vision), within your picture you would than be able to see two eyes. One behind your current left tentacle, and one more down towards what is now 'the front'
or
And probably better, now that I think of it on the fly. Remove the middle eye and place it 'on the back' and slip that tentacle between the 1st and 2nd eye, down to be more in between the others. (this as I also love the indent of the left eye)
It also means the left tentacle needs to move slightly more to the left, halfway between the 'back-eye' and the left 'front-eye'.
A bit the same for the other side.

As a general thing, I love the length of the 'under' and left eye tentacle, but the upper tentacle and right eye seem short, unless I do not follow the lines.
For clarity the Hurglim has 5 tentacles. As in 1 up, 1 down, 1 between each couple of eyes.
Love the way he comes around the corner of a dungeon. Very appropiate place and it is a good flattened hemisphere.

Now, I need to get back to doing my job. I am very happy you decided to join us again, and thanks for an excellent prelimary sketch.
P.s. all lefts and rights are used from our view, not the Berefter (had no time to think one step extra )

Ah, the joy of trying to communicate over the web I've missed this.
Say, any specific colours for the blob of doom? I'm currently doing it in grayscale for shadows and lighting.

Seeing last time it worked with well with colored circles I thought I would do it again.

Red arrows, show of slight movements I would love to see.
Purple circle I now noticed, seeing I am behind my own PC and noticed it looked like a smile... A hurglim is not supposed to have a mouth
Green circle can be more round, probably you made it for the mouth, but as said it need not be.

In the left corner I tried to draw my great ( ) imagination of the Berefter from top side as to eye and tentacle position...
Also this:

A floating mass of a blue/black inky colour floats towards you. It is only 2 feet in diameter and seems to be contained in a sort of flattened hemisphere. It has three eyes in a triangular pattern on the sides of its body. There is a tentacle between each eye and on top and below the creature?s body, all of them with an extreme length.

Thus for colours - you already said it = inky, blob of doom

Hope you don't mind the messy style of colouring. I'm currently using it the most. So better? Satisfactory? To throw it in garbage?

Oh no, don't throw to the bin, but there is something I would still love to see.
As said it is supposed to be an inky blob, so the body may be a bit darker.
And the body of the Hurglim... may be rounder, the former mouth still makes as if it has a duckbill like form. Like the green cicrle I made last time, it may be 'flattened' a bit more.
Would that be possible? Pretty please with sugar, cream, chocolate and strawberries?

Okay, the trio is now inked (funny how I seem to get more done while sick).



Apparently my brain is currently colour dead. I've been trying to think of anything colour-wise in the last two hours and have come up with nothing. Here are some of the colours I was unsuccessfully messing with.



Do you have specific skin tones for any of these guys? I think it mentioned that the sorcerer is pale. Hair colours they should/shouldn't have? And any colour schemes in mind for the clothes on them?

As for the skin tones, the Tiefling is too dark for the continent they come from. I would actually like the mage a bit darker, and the tiefling to have his skin color.
I like the color designs of the Psionic.
I would also like a version with the dark green of the sorcerer to be black-red color. I think that would be more frightening.
The Tiefling may a new build up, using black, dark green and leather brown color - like applying her current skin color to her clothes, as her skin color will become more of a light tone. Would that be an idea?
As for the technological items - well I once posted a few inspirations. Use bronze and dark gold colors, not to much metal colors, I would say.
I am very happy for the progress, that is for sure

Edit: Haha, Orthodoxia posted at the exact same time point. New Berefter/Hurglim drawning is great. Me and my players will be very jumpy of happiness.

Shae's trio look like they're shaping up, too. Nice. Makes me wanna get back into the swing of things now that I have a bit of me time to play with. Spring break's comin' up, too...

Btw, Deathsangel, I don't think Shae's trio are marked as taken.
