I'm half tempted to ask what brushes you are using.

Ha, if I tell you, you'll laugh ;-) I created the brush starting from a round dark point I've drawn with a pencil on a sheet of paper. I warned you! ;-)
I painted a bronw-reddish color, almost like the color you can see in the SHS logo, then I started painting dark fur to see where shadows are, then I painted the light fur, then dark fur again where I made things too bright. I used the 'smudge' tool because the brush I use is too 'sharp'. then lots of dodge and multiply to do light and darker parts

@ Shae: I remember reading the character's description in Deathsangel first posts, it turned out great!!! I'm almost suggesting you not to color the characters in the background because they'd disttract the viewer

Epantiras that is just the perfect color ever. It is dangerous and wicked, still looking like fur. I am crazy about it.

Shae for you the exact same. It is perfect no need to add any brightness or any to the colors of the bard . I love it. If you color the background people (and background) I would suggest dark soft colors, grey and brown so indeed the main focus remains ont he Jester in the front.

Desert setting, eh? Did a quick edit with the ranger's cloak to incorporate that aspect more. Tell me if you like it or not, if you don't I just edit it back no problem with the wonders of Photoshop.

The setting has several types of continents. These particular drawings belong to a desert continent; desert it in its prospects and environment.
I like what you did with the cloak, though it seems a tad big heavy/thick if you know what I mean, but it is indeed a neat idea.

The colours are what I'd originally intended for the back two, but they are pretty much greys and browns anyway. I could have had them say... Greyscale, but it might look a little odd since the main character is so bright that I think she stands out on her own anyway.

Shae I actually saved this drawing of yours because I think it is (yep another unique smiely for our boards for a new artist).
Really, the background need not be greatly defined just as the background characters, as the lady is the most important person.
I think you did well on the characters in the back, dark colors but still well defined clothing and armor, along with the pistol.

Galsic that looks great too, the details and face especially and I like the inclusion of that type of footwear :3

Next I'm contemplating ''Iconic' Characters Section II - XXV) Human Psion or Psyic Warrior.' and one of the others. You said not only magic or tech, so if a psion would be considered tech then perhaps 'XXI) Evil Pale-skinned Human Sorcerer' could go with it. My first thought is that they'd be arguing. So, any descriptions to add, guidelines, thoughts etc? I'm guessing the sorcerer might be in a more traditional robe perhaps, still pondering the psion.

Okay, I added the second version with your signature.

I am afraid that Psions are considered on the unnatural/magic side (or none if using the alternative rule), as such these two fighting are a bit at odds with the Setting I am afraid.
I am also thinking more along the lines RedTyga and Galsic draw these drawings, as was done in Eberron and Fearûn. They strike certain posses and perhaps look at one another (which can be vile looking), but still in somewhat a neat row. I do not know if this makes you change your mind, but it is more like... a party portrait, if you know what I mean.
Examples of what I mean are This (if a bit static for my liking), this, this, this and this one (I reckon the best of this row in facial expressions, lacking slighlty in stands).

Yes, a Tiefling Rogue can definately be technological and there are certain spots where there is a high density of tech rogues
(Just for clarification, Rogues can be magical)

So, what I am asking for with the sorcerer is based on a country where they are quite numerous. They are power-hungry and see themselves as superiour making all those that have no talent for the Arcane Art slaves or, for those 'lucky' enough to call themselves countryman, serfs. Being a technologist is even worse than having no talent. There live in a country more south, so their skin tone is darker than siimply caucasian, think around meditteranian or soft mexican. As such hair colour should not be blond, but something darker. Feel free for the sorcerer to show discontent to the Tiefling. Feel free, for the sorcerer to stand tall and proud, and have some muscle (not overly so, but they are not ivory tower types so to say) and have some magical items (need not glow, naturally, but perhaps some things can be copied from the DM guide or Magic Item Compendium, if you like the look of a certain item.

Tieflings in this setting look every bit like you 'ordinary' Tieflings, after all they still have the same background. I warn though that Tieflings show only so much. The Tiefling picture of Planescape Torment would reckon to me to be max (bright blue hair, horns on the head, goat legs). I would like to give you some artistic freedom in it, though indeed a tail or so would be sweat. As for thief her tools, I would say at least a few steampunk tech items, like googles, pistol and a modified dagger (like in a casing, like a gauntlet (this is an actual setting item)).
The link is for inspiration, so you need not use those items, though as a sidenote I would say they have some nice pieces (but heck, just typing steampunk in google or youtube gets a few nice images).

Well, they have different signs when manifesting a power in comparison to a wizard. Here are some images of a psion, psion, psion, psychic warrior.

It depends on which rule you use. Originally I let them be neutral, thus psionic apart of magic allowing them technology. This, however, proved perhaps to be a bit powerful. This needs more testing. As this is a little more precair, you can give a tech item, but just not too much, and the rest can be psionic tattoos, crystal and the like.
Psychic characters are more rare than wizards in this setting, but there are few places where the concegrate. For the continent the drawing is meant for there is one country that focuses on meditation and philosophy. This means that monks and psions tend to concregate here. The country has a lot of political intrigue (some claim with mindcontrolling) and many different races as they come for the the philosophy of the country. They have a 'If you don't bother us, we don't bother you' kind of attitude (though in a more friendlier way than this sounds).

Still alive, just have work and school to juggle now. Anyway, I thought I'd give you a little update on the drawing. These are the flats for the drawing, and I even added a bit more detail, and lightened up the dudes cloak so it doesn't look as heavy.
