Complete rewrite , I hate it that sometimes backspace takes you back to the former page...
I love this one.
This is just a comment. I thought you might want the website for reference, and maybe you'll find a gun that appeals to you visually too. This one might be better suited for the setting ....
I like the second one for sure, not the first. However, it need not be shiney like
classic colts or
Smith & Wesson.
For the rifles I thinking along the line of the classic
winchest or the WW1
M1 and for the heavy stuff
this and
this. All of this as it is around the industrial evolution type of rifles that people tend to know.
For the rest (mainly Galsic though) attaching my horrible stick figure... The bow is not drawn in the correct perspective, but I thougth it otherwise hard to see what I meant. The arrow is supposedly between the legs.
Heheh, either even you can't quite picture how it's done or I was right. Them knees are gonna get in the way of the bowstring
. However, I think I found a way it could be done. They would have to hold the bow more in front of them rather than below, like so:
I guess in the end, how it works doesn't really matter for gameplay purposes. Sure would be kinda nice to make sense of it, though.
Ah, I thought you meant the arrow. Still I reckon their is enough place for the bowstring my way. There is only so much you can pull it back, and gravity helps, and the hands can be lower of course and the legs under a steeper angle.
I reckon with your way you can't shoot towards the ground, which is unpractical so to say

I've edited above for the image.
Let's see; For the claws, I wanted them to be same color as her hair, I needed to balance the color in the image (not to mention it looks nicer) I've added some shadow and texture, messed with her hair just a bit but left golden and wooded hair thingies, darker brown wouldn't be seen. Also, no flowers, this druid here really shouldn't wear flowers. Believe me
Anything else?
Ah, it seems art and design now clash slighty.

First the confession that I have no idea what the difference is of what you say "a need to balance the color" and to make it look appealing. I am sure you mean something sophisticated, but I can not get my head around it. Sorry

In principal the claw color is not really problematic as I haven't specified it yet. If you think it is no good contrast for common black hair (as in the physical description) with yellow claws, than in principal it is no problem.
I do wish for this to be uniform across the race though. So lets say we simply let the druid lady keep her light (for the Faëlicae) hair color; can you make the ranger with black hair in such a composition you enjoy this color scheme? If so, all is fine and than we have warm earth colored claws.
I love the idea of the wide pants, seeing it seems free-styled clothing and leave to the fantasy how thick the legs are. Though it is a shame to see the entire joint gone, as I did love that part (more so as it is also barely visible on the ranger). I had though only a slight hang over, not covering the entire joint, but of course I did not specify enough once again... silly me.
Another small thing, I wonder if the brown stripes on top (I first thought joints to an 'under' brown pants, but that is too deep) should be made in more heavy rings. In this way the brown stays but doesn't seem hanging odd in the air... Or am I forgetting a logical reason?
Haha, okay no flowers that is fine, but I still feel it is too much gold (as did my players). Faëlicae are hunter-gatherers, although not nomadic. They are close to nature and as such they are content with simple things and are very humble (quite a bit unlike Avariel so to speak (although close to nature they have the eleborate culture and style of the elves)).
Perhaps a change of the necklace into a stone or wooden pendant in the form of a bird or owl?
Along the same line, I see you have messed up the hair, but I wouldn't mind a whole thick lock of stray hair. Simply extending the one at the ear to swirl more?
Perhaps two of the loose beads in another color? Perhaps like silvery and blue for keeping warm colors? Or are they than perhaps too much in conflict with the rest of the drawing? If so than just drop this point.
