A sudden bout of seasickness

Some of the NPCs have green skin, so far I've noticed Falastra, Rihn and Althon have a rather hideous complexion. It's not game breaking, just a little annoying. I'm not sure if this is caused by Classic Adventures or 1PP.
I have Classic Adventures 0.41a installed.
BTW, Is Shadow supposed to have the portrait for her that's displayed on the CA website?
Thanks

BTW, I use a Sony 19 inch flat panel and it definitely displays the BG games differently than my laptop. So some color/brightness/contrast issues are going to be with each monitor. But sometimes it is also the video card.

The computer I'm playing CA on is not my personal computer, so I don't know the settings, so you're probably right.
I'm moving CA to my personal computer later this week, so I'll tell you if the problem stops. It just seems strange that it only affects certain characters.
Thanks

Only my two cents here, the mods is the best ever so I don't personally care about skin color. I just want to play more modules!!!

Some of our NPCs have a more bronze coloring (representing darker skin or very tanned). Rivian should be very light colored being a moon elf. Some of the other elves are probably also done this way, I can't remember now. Also, some of the CRE files were actually made in IWD and then ported over to BG. So unless the problem comes from there...

So... I have to assume that color doesn't come out well on some monitors. Or, if everyone seeing this problem is using 1PP, than I can blame that except as far as I know, the avatars and paperdolls should just be showing the colors defined by the player or CRE. They wouldn't use their own pallete that I know of.
Aesdale: 12 - Carnation Pink
Althon: 16 - Silverish Gold
Blodgett: 8 - Dark Muddy Brown
Blush: 84 - Peach
Dirbert: 9 - Light Muddy Brown
Fala'stra: 16 - Silverish Gold
Icar: 114 - Yet Another Brown (who comes up with these names??)
Rihn: 16 - Silverish Gold
Rilithar: 12 - Carnation Pink
So I guess I will see if another color works and try to avoid 16. It doesn't look green on my screen but I know that my Sony monitor doesn't display all colors the way I would like (just using the defaults). I have had problems with different shades of black for map areas that my laptop has displayed just fine for me. Any other NPCs that should get a skin tone change?

Could it be that the version you used to make them, leahnkain has a different colour range than the version I'm using?

Actually, aren't you playing on a Japanese version of the game? Could there be differences in the textures between the american and Japanese versions?

And on a second note, I do agree that Althon does look kinda odd, but one person that looked really odd was that lord that introduces him and is a corrupt scumbag, or something... I haven't gone into full detail on that noble's story yet.
He looks kinda light teal, just thought I'd ask if this is normal, as in, suitable for maybe a half-orc which strangely look nearly no different with their avatars... actually they look like humans except with the paperdolls to be honest, what the hell was Bioware thinking?

Apart from 1pp, and the EoU compinents installed in CA, I haven't got any other mods installed. It's not a big thing though, and it doesn't spoil enjoyment of the mod.

The only difference between the Japanese version and the English version is the language. I have both installed. When I put Althon in either version he looks tan on my computer. I agree with Solar's Harper that bioware could have doen a lot more with the avatars. I'll bring this to Sir BillyBob's attension. I guess we can always switch the skin color.

I don't have 1PP installed, so I can't match up my colors to yours. Some of these characters have been in our mod for the past 2 years and no one has ever said they had this problem. I will see about making some adjustments to these three, but their defined color is gold, not green. So I still have to say it is something on your end. Just not sure what. CRTs, flat panels, LCD, plasma, they all give off different brightness and contrast effects. So if you switch out computers but use the same monitor, the problem will still be there.

As this could be the source of the problem, the sudden change and copy/paste thing and why others do and some don't have it, at least could be explaned.
