I've been trying to find a readme file on this for a while, but I haven't been successful. So here's the deal, I have WeiDU, and I have absolutely NO IDEA how to use it. I also have the BGT V 1.04 and several misc patch/tweak files.
Now, before I ask what I need to do to install BGT, I first want to know something. Will BGT allow me to start BG I with a high level (40) character with things from SOA/TOB? If yes, will it allow me to travel freely between areas in BG I and BG II (or will I need to install world map or something else?)
That's about it for now. Any answers/help would be greatly appreciated Thank you all for your support!

The readme for BGT is readily available inside the mod folder that you just downloaded.
You can import your 40th level character, but I'm not really sure a bunch of gibberlings are going to present much of a challenge to you at that point. I believe you will be able to import your equipment, although I have not yet attempted to take on a pack of kobolds with Carsomyr.
No mod is going to allow you to travel between BG1 areas/SoA areas/ToB areas, regardless of which map mods you install.
