It's been a while since I've been on the boards, so I just want to say that it's good to be back!

First thing's first, I'm trying to find a way to merge the two priest classes.  I'm essentially trying to find a way to create a Druid/Cleric dual class.  I just need to know if/how it is possible.  I found a .2da file that piqued my interested.  It was the DUALCLAS.2da  I saw a lot of off and on (1's and 0's) But I never managed to get any results (I switched druid in the cleric section to 1, and cleric in the druid section to 1 as well) However, my knowledge of how to dual-class is very limited as it is.  Maybe I'm looking at the wrong file, or am just going about the whole dual-classing process wrong (I usually just start a new game, making a human cleric and opting to dual class in game)  Sometimes the dual class option just doesn't show up for me, and the one time it did (starting as a pure cleric) the only option was to be a theif.  There wasn't an option to be a mage or anything else that cleric's normally dual class with.  So any help understanding what I doing wrong there would greatly help

If there is no way to make the said Cleric/Druid multiclass, is there a way to grant the cleric all of the druid spells via altering files?

If anyone knows an alternate way to do what I'm talking about, please let me know how to do it.  I appreciate everyone's input   Thank you all!

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer. Usually, when someone wants to take advantage of druid spells and cleric spells, they multi/dual as a ranger/cleric.

Anybody know anything about this particular chunk of esoterica, as I'm rather curious myself?

A druid is a subclass of a priest. I don't think the game engine will allow it.

That was my thought, as well, but I wanted to hear it from someone else before mouthing off again.

It is quite possible to enable the "druid" button on a cleric's dualclassing screen by messing with dualclas.2da. Your problem is likely insufficient ability scores (IIRC, need 15 in your prime req for the class you're leaving and 17 in the prime req for the class you're becoming). It's even possible to choose cleric/cleric (see attached pic - his starting class is cleric!).

However, my game crashes when I click "skills".

I'm guessing since the cleric/druid class simply does not exist in the game, it doesn't know what to do and just kills itself in desperation.

(I don't think it would be too hard to create a druid or cleric kit that gets access to the other class' spells.)

The spell book would probably crash at higher levels. Why not use shadowkeeper to add the spells you want. It seems strange to have a character with two gods granting them powers.

Yeah that would work, just tried that myself. Just go to the priest section of the list, and add in the spells, be aware though that sometimes they don't appear in the game as they should(but this is most common with those under innate abilities list).

As long as you can use the magics of the priest classes (druid, cleric etc) they will be available to you, useable if there are also slots open. Same applies if you wish to dabble in Mage powers but happen to be the wrong sort(specialized in the wrong school). Is this helpful?

Ok, after about 3 days of modding .2da, .Spl, and .Cre files, I finally did it.  I managed to create a Wild Mage/Cleric that can use not only Cleric Spells, but all the Druid spells as well.  So simple, yet so tedious ><  My brain is fried...  Well, thanks for all of your input, you know it's always much appreciated
