New updated mods hangup after intro movie

Just started a new BG game with the updated mods.  Started out fine, ROT cutscreen no problem, but after I saved and then reloaded my game the intro movie started.  At the end of the movie, it faded away like usual, but then left me with the dreaded screen with no contol or icons.

Seems like you have a mod installed that doesn't add continue() in the end of the ar0602 script.

Which Intros start when you beginn a NEW BG2 game? There should be:

1. ROT
2. CTB
3. Original

does one of them not start?
If you are comfortable with NI you could try to fix it there.

You've tried hitting "H" on your keyboard to Unhide your GUI as well?

That is a piece of code at the top of your script. So, as soon as it doesn't contain Continue() as the last action (say hello to a modder that composed that), area script that lies below that block was not fired when you started new game and you didn't see SoA starting movie at that time. Then, when you're loading your savegame, following code

takes its chance and executes. SetCursorState(TRUE) (whose effect initially should be deactivated at the end of Irenicus' cutscene) doesn't have its opposite action because that cutscene is already seen. So, you have hidden GUI and will stuck in such position forever.

Solution.
1) Find out which mod adds that block at the top of the script (one of your smaller mods);
2) Try to contact its author to say 'big thanx';
3) Add Continue() like this

, recompile and save the script (probably, with the help of NI or other tool.
4) If you're not familiar with script modifying tools - uninstall bogus mod and never use it again. Jk.
Uninstall it, find its script text somewhere in its folders, add Continue() to it and install again.
5) In any case, to see the result you have to start a new game.

This is a known issue from Freedom's Reign/Reign of Virtue.

Don't deride the developer. The Continue()'s issue only got discovered last year. By you, wasn't it?

Could we get this mod updated and pushed to mirrors? As far as I know, it's the only change needed for it.

Woot, this is news. I wonder if the Wizard mirrors have this update. Anyone know if the package has the update for AR1202?

They do not, I think only ShS has the update.

Please do not reinstall you list. This is an easy fix, you can make it with a game editor. You do know how to use one of the game editors?

From what I see the area 1202 is still the same, I added the continue to it in my install and will attach it here if someone wants to include it in the next version.
