I really have been working on these portraits little by little, believe me. Here's something I have in some state that the others might even understand. Nalia somewhat finished and Aerie with her face so that you guys can see what I have in mind.



EDIT: I think I have to zoom back a bit with Aerie so the composition will be more similar to the other portraits.

Oh wow I don't know what's going on, but on my aunt's TFT your picture look about 800 % more beautiful. Maybe I just have to clean it once in a while

Anyhow, I think Nalia's almost perfect the way she is. The only thing I'd change is the colour of her black robes. It looks good, but Imoen's got black clothes already It's only my opinion, I just like it if characters differ in as many ways possible.

As for Aerie, you already made clear you'll zoom back to adapt its size to the other portrays, so I have nothing to complain about Try to get her face as centered as possible.
The wind effect is a great idea, hints to the fact that she is an avariel. And hair gusted by the wind is always cool
Do you think you will add some of those beads and bands to her hair? Or give her some jewelry in general?

Oh, Nalia's robes were supposed to be dark blue.

I will give Aerie the beads and whatnot to her hair, but I'm unsure of her facetattoos. We'll see how it turns out!

I kind of feel that she needs to wear something as it is: I don't know why she wouldn't be - considering she's an adventurer now, I mean! I like her expression, though; it's wistful and sad but very pretty at the same time!

Her left shoulder - it appears to dip down rather soonish, as if her shoulders were very narrow. Is that a trick of the portrait with the hair in the way?

But great work! I can't wait to see Anomen - and the rest of them, for that matter.

Yay for a romanceable NPC who doesn't look like a blowup doll! (That goes for your alternate Jaheira, too.) She looks lovely and ethereal with that expression and the shape of her hair.

PS - I also very much like the texture and folds on Nalia's cloak.

I forgot to post Eddie earlier! As you can see, this one is VERY MUCH UNFINISHED so... keep that in mind.

The hairstyle surprised me. Also I think I have to work on his skin tone a lot more.

The only thing is Aerie's right ear... it seems a bit upper than the left one... Is it's my eyes/monitor bug or it should be so?

Awesome, awesome work, Ilmatar. Could you make Aerie's lips a little stronger/redder colour, though? Right now they blend a little too much with the skin.

I sort of wanted them to be pale - I always tend to paint black eyelashes and full red lips. I was hoping to have Aerie break that rule, and in my mind her being natural and pale-ish would suit her.

EDIT: I prefer the Aerie lips as is. And she looks good so far. Can't wait to see her further progressed, since she's my second favorite romance. After Jaheira.

And Nalia looks good. As does Edwin(or will when finished). Though I must admit, his hair is not as I would have expected. Not bad, but not what I expected.
