It is originally 3 17 13 5 7, as in the puzzle above, slashes are 10s, dots are 1s and X are 5s.
Then our mechanical friend HK-47 reversed the code, so in-game it is 7 5 13 17 3.
You donīt find this information from a single source. Datapad of a officer shows the original sequence and from a record made by HK-47 you find out it was reversed IIRC.

OK, so I know two almost similar ways of passing himthat have nothing to do with the above answer, so how is this a question for everybody?

I generally use the simplest way, which is to use a stealth generator to sneak over to the pile of corpses, add the Rancor Musk and a grenade or two, and watch the cutscene.
