I'd say Revan as well. Not only does he appear on both games, he's a driving force in both of them. Those who share the first trait, like Canderous, Malak, or Bastila, are really no competition (and their characters are centered on Revan as well).

I would have to say that the only people who really come close are Kreia or Revan. The other Darth's really only influence the plot of their one game. Cnaderous/Mandalore doesn't influence the plot of either of them too extensively. Certainly sharper than some other characters, he had an important part in both, he gave the PC what they needed. Bastila, while big in the first, doesn't much affect the second. And you have to assume she died prior to the beginning of the second, unless she went outside known space as well.
In the end since everyone else said Revan(Darth- does that mean Revan as a Sith only?), I'll say Kreia. She shaped both Revan and The Exile, even Darth Nihilus and Darth Sion, owed much of who they became to her. She may not have had anything to do with the beginning of the Mandalorian wars, but many of the events that followed were influenced by her, directly or because of her teachings to an individual.
In the end since everyone else said Revan(Darth- does that mean Revan as a Sith only?), I'll say Kreia.
