Ok, I've never seen this before, and I didn't see anything in searching the forum either. But I just finished installing a new mega and when I went to create a new character the weapon proficiencies it displays 2x longsword, 2x flail, 2x sling, and a couple of others, it is also missing short sword, mace, and I'm not sure what else off the top of my head. I think I should have the weapprof.2da from BG2 Tweaks. I've opened up a saved game with SK changed the proficiencies and looked again but no change.
Any thoughts?

After further analysis it is really screwed. I have 2 long sword, 3 flail, 2 crossbow, 2 quarterstaff, 2 sling (1 with dart description), 2 war hammer (1 with dagger description), and the 2 handed sword gives the katana description. I'm definitely missing short sword, mace, dagger, and short bow.
The mods I've got installed that I've never used before follow: BGTNeJ, Rupert, Questor, Square, WtUE, DoS, BGII Subrace, and P5Tweaks.
I tried uninstalling subrace since it affects the GUI, but no love. I'm currently reinstalling the GUI to see if that does it.
Well reinstalling the GUI didn't help either.
My two guesses are that something messed up the GUI, or something messed up weapprof.2da.

It was definitely a corrupt weapprof.2da file. I played with one from the BG2_Tweaks backup, dumped it in the override folder and things are back to good. It seems that a # of items were given non-unique number designations. I don't know why it cropped up this time and not before if it is a BG2_tweaks issue. Oh well.
