You're right, it's a little bit big for an elf.
I like noses with character. Seriously, I should draw more Halflings, because I always imagine them to have noses with lots of personality. But I keep on drawing elves. I often draw noses similar to that one, without even noticing it. I actually don't mind them on my elves, as I like how they look with them (and the first and foremost thing about art is, that the artist has to be happy with their own work, I was always told. Everything else should come after that.). But everyone has different opinions, and that's important. It's what makes this world interesting!

I'll have to post the sketch of the sun panel of a tryptich I once made, to show you one of my favourite noses ever, one day.
I think I'll try drawing a smaller nose with character for the next elf, though. It's more difficult, but not impossible (a friend of my family has one of those noses. Seriously, it has it's own personality, but it's not large. I just could spend ages just admiring that nose, until people would think I was some kind of creep. I had known that person for ages, but she used to wear glasses, so I never really saw the nose. Recently she switched to contacts, and now I can't stop admiring that nose. I'm not the only one, either. It's such a beautiful, characteristic nose, that many people can't stop looking at it once they notice it. I know it sounds strange, but it's true.). I should practice it a bit more, really. This is a good opportunity to do so for me.
Oh, and I love the hair myself, too. I turned out nearly perfect when I first attempted drawing it, it just flew off my pencil. It was great drawing it.
Thanks for your comment!
And now I'm off to draw Saemon Havarian, one of my favourite characters ever (It's a complicated love-hate relationship. Me and my characters of course get annoyed at him, but he's just such a sparkling personality, and so likeable, we just can't manage to hate him for very long.

)!
