Getting closer to Melaka Fray, I did my very firstest recolor, of the Babe hair 2 (ignore the face):
Not too much to get all excited about, I know - but I'm happy.
That's awesome, Kalia! I would love to figure out how to do that for Lydia - using the shorter Babe hair, have it go from black at the roots to a purplish at the ends.
Oooh, Luchaire praise! Thank you!
If I can do it, you *certainly* can. You probably have photoshop, too - so even easier. I'll take a wack at it myself if you want, but I just selected all, colorized to the blue I wanted, then used a rectangle select on the ends, up a bit from where I really wanted it to start, then used gimp's select contiguous regions tool to *unselect* the top bits so it blended & colorized that to purple. I had to do the same thing to all three versions of the texture (all but the _n one).

I have no idea what you just said (I don't use Gimp), but ... cool. I'll toy around with it one of these days when I have a few minutes.

Anyways, I'm just posting this here to tell everyone that I just moved, and for a week I didn't have Internet. Now I'm back, and I'm really excited to post more screens soon. What did I miss over the week?

Probably not helpful that I've only ever used gimp - I was sort of assuming the tools were similar. Were you imagining a graduation of colors, black to purple, or just a two-color black top & deep purple ends?

Grimbot, the shot where your character's fighting that bear is absolutely EPIC, good angle, GREAT poses... I love it!
...
Also, Caelara is no more, due to a combination of a switch in leveling mods and my own stupidity. Yay for irrevocable damage to my characters. Well... I probably could have used wrye bash to fix it, but I'm always wary of using that particular program because it ALWAYS messes up my damned mod load order. Hence, I like to avoid the annoyance of re-ordering them into a WORKING order.
Oh well. maybe I'll just recreate her... or just create a whole new character all-together. Time will tell.

@ Soul Slayer - Nice looking house. Am curious as to where it's from. And am glad to see that the story continues with Syndara.
@ highpressure - What, no violence? no blood? no flying bodies or parts?? Just what have you done with highpressure?
@ kalia - Love the hair colous.
@ SanityCheck - Those pics bring back some biteersweet memories. I thinkk the DB quests are some of the best in the game.
@ LprMan - Great shots. That last "Green and Gold one is my favorite.
@ JazzJR - Cool looking character.
@ Chimera - This looks like the start of a very interesting story. Looking forward to more.
@ Luchaire - Wow! Just, wow! She looks fantastic.
@ grimbot - excellent pics
@ Daiyoukai Ramza - You could always put saves into a separate folder. It was either kalia of MystykStar who suggested that to me. Course I haven't done it yet, so I'm one to talk.

FYI - update to the latest version of Wrye Bash. It no longer does that - so long as you have "Lock Times" unchecked. I used to have the same problem - but just export your load order in OBMM, then fire up Wrye Bash, uncheck the "Lock Times" box, and import your load order in OBMM. You'll only need to do that once.Great pictures everybody, but I feel I must comment on only one particular screenshot this post.

Hrm, I think I do have the most recent version of Wrye Bash... but, eh, it's a moot point now, since Caelara is gone.
*gives Caelara a 21-bow salute*
