Speaking of the SS Guides - I have got permission from the main contributors (Shadow and Divine Avenger) to post it here. Many others have also contributed, and most of them also post here - so I will assume none of you will mind it coming here. I still need to PM Hannah at TES and ask her permission, as Shadow also includes her work in his part of the Guides. Then I can maintain it here - and someday even index all the contents of the thread too. Where should the Guides go when I do finalize permissions to post it here?

You're very welcome. When I re-read the original guides posting, it seemed just as clear and perhaps simpler than what I posted - but when I first read it, I somehow skipped the ctrl-alt-del out part, and was constantly freezing up. I just need things *one*. *step*. *at*. *a*. *time*.

Really - Kisa needs a cool but simple & not-script-heavy home base! How dare ORE be down!

@ chiggles: sorry chiggles, I completely skipped over your post? I'm not sure how old they are, I have to keep them for 2-3weeks and I think kittens leave their moms at 8 weeks, so... I'm guessing they're 5-6 weeks old?

Luckily I have hard-wood floors in my house so it's easy to clean up their little furball mess.....

I think there's no need to type 'tm'. In fact I don't type this at all. Flying camera with frozen action has disabled hud by default, at least that's how it exactly works on my PC under XP system.

Edit: Ack! Oblivion has failed me! It crashes when I try to go into the Load menu... And this bug came out of the thin air, as my Oblivion was working perfectly until now...

It's super-easy - I had no problems, so it must be! Just put the merged teeth meshes & textures in their folders - I think it might come with an .esp, but I don't use that - then open up your custom race in the CS, point the (I think it's "lower" that's actually first) slot to that, then point the other slot to the nose ring meshes/textures. Worked like a charm for Pip - in fact anyone else who's interested in doing that could take a look at her. And the merged teeth mod also has khajit, argonian & orc teeth. I've got Kisa's ears set to the teeth slot, so they show up when she's wearing that wig. Also makes them show up when she's wearing helmets, which can be either cute or just odd.

Trollf - If I don't "tm", the "screenshot.bpm created" message shows up on the screen & stays there. But for others, that'll definitely save a step!

Von Stahlriven - are you sure you didn't accidently uncheck an .esm? I'm sure you already looked at that, but just in case . . . .

So glad it worked, Luchaire. Had a chance to check out your most recent pics of Lydia - she's looking great! If you *can* - I would assume this is super-hard - having dark nail polish would really add to the whole look. I love what you've done with the eyeshadow sweeping out to the side, and you really picked some good outfits for her. If you've got the BAB black bra that uses a ring slot, that'd look great (assuming the clipping is minor) under the trench coat. The goths I knew (now long ago) in high school always wore lots of layers. You were totally right to go with that hairstyle - very gothy, very fitting. When those multiple-ring bracelet/slave bracelets come out, those would really fit her too!

Only thing in the near past that involved editing one of my esp's was when I chanced a few things in my customised cosmetic compilation...

It did work at least once after that...

@kalia: I looked into my OBMM and "oblivion.esm" seemed to be checked...

I understend now. I use FRAPS and it doesn't generate any messages and can take shots with AA (the most important setting for me).

Hmm... It didn't crash after I removed all of my saves(whole folder including autosaves & quicksaves)...

Edit: The cause of the crash seems to be Lilith's save.

It works with every single other save, but when I add the "sneaky.ess" into the folder it crashes...

Damn it! Is there a way to repair a savegame ?

If it's due to bloating (and perhaps other reasons as well) - Wrye Bash'll do the trick!

@ Luchaire - wait, you *play* this game? You mean there's more to it than just character creation?

Bloating? That would be strange as Sneaky.ess is only 2,3mb's big and there's only around 55 hours of total playing time... *shrug*

Wrye bash is one of the programs that I've somehow managed to ignore for so long. I will download it soon and try what it can do.
