I whipped up something silly really quick, and it looks like it, too. Anyhoo, as you might guess, this is from BG1, when they meet Xan for the first (and, um, the last) time. Xan - Imoen - Jaina (PC) - Edwin.

I love this one alot Ilmatar! But Xan's face was bugging me by looking familiar then I realized who he reminded me of. He looks to me like that John DeLancey who played Q in Star Trek the Next Generation. But maybe that's just me!
I really like Edwin's comments alot too!

Well, I don't know. I mean, "Snape Kills Dumbledore" was a spoiler two years ago, because it's been confirmed that Dumbledore is definitely dead and we saw in the book that Snape killed him. With Xan, though, only one romantic path out of three has this event(the path where the PC dumped Xan in BG1, or they just fell apart in BG1), and it's not a definite ending - there is a choice, later. So, I wouldn't say it is a real mean big spoiler, no.

I took a creative liberty with the Gorion's challenge, because the leaving actually happened to me in BG2, not in BG1 - unfortunately, I disregarded the readme as I'm a hopeless Spellhold rusher (I must be the only powergamer who takes Yoshimo/Imoen even if playing a thief and/or I have Amber/Fade/Valen/... in party

Actually, I think that hand is very much to scale. It would cover the face very nicely (yes, that's also taking into account the part that is hidden behind the head), and thus is the correct scale.

You surely haven't heard of my All-thief-except-for-Xan party in BG 1, then. Of course, I only mentioned it at Sorcerers place so far, so no wonder. It had my Noriko (I always play thieves), Imoen, Skie (got rid of Eldoth by booting him out of the group while he was on another screen.), Alora, Xan...and I think Safana.

I have to say, Alora and Xan were always my two of my top favourite NPCs.


We were backstabbing our way trough the latter part of Baldur's Gate quite effectively.

And no, the wings aren't broken. They're just flexible and bent back for the sake of balance and simply being drawn.

I just had to play with Xan's face and hair a bit, because that portrait of his (shudders) always makes me think that he has mustache. No really, first time I played BG I thought he had mustache. In fact, I still do.

Well, that's what I intended...

I think the point was that if my Xan looks more like Solaufein, who is teh ghey yeah, fine, so I think he's actually bi, but whatever, it would make sense for the person poking him to be male as well. Uh. Or something?

Or maybe Imoen just looks a little too masculine. Possibly Irenicus got her unremovable MINHP=1 belt mixed up with the Girdle of Gender-Bender from BG1 when he stole all my stuff. (What's up with D&D villains and the stealing-all-my-stuff deal, anyway? I mean, srsly, I have played like a zillion D&D-based CRPGs and they all take away my stuff between games. Hax! Hax, I say!)

(I was actually embarrassed when that thief got my everything in the beginning of HOTU. After BG, I was totally shocked to see that a character could be NEKKID).

Oh, and I am sorry, vilkacis: I seriously didn't get it was Imoen. I think the scar(which I mistook for a line on the face) and the mouth fooled me.

Go on, this is the ASYLUM anyway, I'm sure someone will draw what ever you are suggesting. But let me warn you, if it's very explicit, I will have to draw my Staff card and remove it (and get it to Kulyok privately )!

This is an old pic of mine. I know Kulyok has seen it since she went to my galler at Elfwood. well here it is. Xan comforting his girl.
I will try to put up a larger version later. I am doing this from school so I do not have that much control over how it looks. Also I am working on doing some new Xan/Menelanna art. One will be quite sad if I can pull it off.
