Help! I'm restarted!

I keep restarting my games with Avalon cause I have no idea wtf I'm gonna play her as. For the love of god (and my sanity) can someone make a suggestion? I don't care if it's "role-play her as a one-legged traveling hooker" I'm desperate for some advice :S Whatever whoever recommends I'll stick to this time, I'm losing my mind restarting so much :\

Play her as a Mystic Archer... Based around these three skills - Mysticism, Conjuration, and Marksman. I'm having a total blast with a build like that right now (using a Tabaxi). It requires using the Telekinetic Mastery mod, but it's great - use Conjuration for summoning distractions, and Telekinetic push type spells to keep targets off their feet and away from you while you pelt them with a hail of arrows. Toss in some other skills for fun and amusement, but those three are all you really need.

Ghostruler: Two questions, first off are those "gloves" from Slofs goth shop? I could swear i have seen them before... And the other question, how did you get those pictures to look so, vibrant? It's almost like the world has an aura around it. oh and another question (yea i know i said two) why do you have a golf ball in your elbow in the third picture?

To get the effect I use, open you pic in ps and the dupe the layer, use glasurian blur (to w/e degree you like) then I scroll through the tab on the layer info thingy and look for what I like.

@Luchaire: Like the character and her trenchcoat. The shots during the sunset and the night (with the overhanging moon) are especially atmospheric.

@Daiyoukai Ramza: I have such a weakness for seraphs, so it's only natural that I like your character! And you managed to depict him in so many badass scenes, the hand-to-hand ones are especially nice. Very frenetic looking!

@VanQa: Nice to see some standalone close-ups of Gwen for once. And that shot of the chapel is really good (nice "accident"); I didn't think it was a screenshot at first.

@Floydian1: Excellent shots. The pictures featuring all the Dremora lined up in their formations just kick ass beyond all reason, that Daedric mask looks cool, and the dresses are pretty. Nice to see some more conservative clothes for once. Ah yes, and that dragon comin' through the gate is awe-inspiring.

@Yorkmaster: Ah, that first shot with the glowing light door behind him is very nice. Shame you forgot to remove the UI.

@ghostruler: Very colorful shots you've got there, and nice scenery.

@LprMan: What was this about sucking at action shots? The one with the giant rat is cool enough. But the real show-stealers you've presented are the silhouette pics. They really help bring a dangerous, claustrophobic feeling to the scenes.

@Karandras: Oooh, those treetop pics are great. I really like the one of the dragon being obscured by the foliage. I've tried to capture that sort of feeling, and always turned up short. Aside from that, anything involving lightning spells are always great.

@Spike4072: White skin and red eyes does look good, and that ice elf (or perhaps, a rare Falmer, Snow elf) looks so cute.

@Hector the Hooded: The tattoo's looking better and better. Though is it intended to stand out from all the other, ah, markings on his skin?

@highpressure: Nice action scenes, and comic book goodness. Could try adding a bit more variety to the sound effects, though, and make them easier to see against the background.

And while we're at it, no, I can't get into the archives while logged in either.

Glad you like it. I'm enjoying the hell out of the concept with my tabaxi, Syn Tii. I went with Mysticism, Conjuration, Alchemy, Marksman, Sneak, Security, and Acrobatics, for a fairly balanced mage-thief type. I think I'm in love with Telekinetic Mastery.

On a related note, I've checked out some of the story threads. You guys have some real talent and creativity.

DS Divine - Love the story, it looks rather interesting and I can't wait to see where the plot goes! Oh, and screens were simply fantastic. The black and white pics was a neat touch.

gf1: WTF! Who broke my door down! IG Hector! You have come for your dolly! I guess you got so excited about getting one, you didn't read what actually happened - all the dollies are dead! Gone! I have been pumping them for 30 minutes now, and nothing! They all leak in the same spot - the heart! I am so sorry - they are gone and now I have to tell you that Layla is locked up - hidden away, for her own good.

Thanks! While the retexturing didn't take very long at all, the process of patching SI and switching incompatible mods and such was rather agonizing. I'm glad all my work paid off!

I also find that the scarred eye adds a "tough survivor" feel to a character, especially if it is female. And I noticed hardly anybody (at least here at SHS) have really scarred characters. So I thought, why not!

@ Layla - Well, most of the time, they are fine with it Layla! However, on certain occasions someone will be cold. THey accept me, but sometime feeling are hurt and nerves are touched, but I ALWAYS make it up. Sometimes I sleep with all of them at the same time, not sex, only sleep (and cuddeling)! Sort of a large, happy warm love fest (yes, my bed is that big).

Now, Layla, I have taken the liberty to purchase a remote island and have begun building a large Akaviri-style manor, similar to that of your monastery. I will be using that as a temporary residence untill the final construction* on my Palace in the Void is 100% done.

@gf1 - ERrr...used? Well..... I will have to not accept one as they are clearly err....important too you! But I will still fix it for you! (thank Sithis for my godly powers!)

* - The final tilesets are finished.

@ Cyborg - My character, Hector, is covered in scars and Tats.

I saw something similar to it in some Unique Face mod (adds face tats and scar) and the eyes could be from beautiful people.

Am I right?



If you did it yourself, sorry! It just looks similar to exsisting stuff! It is very good, nonetheless!

Yes, I'm actually using Supreme Magick with her,it has a push/pull telekinetic spell that's pretty awesome

Yeah...Alienslof posted how to photoshop scars onto a texture on the ESF awhile back...let me see if I can find it...

Here it is:

"There is Adobe Photoshop and it has layers -

1. Find a face texure, BACKUP it! Make a layer and call it ""Scar". Draw a thick or thin line in "Scar". Motion-blur it (Filter-Blur-Motion-Blur).
2.Copy a layer with blurred line. Use a Lasso, shift the line slightly in your choosen direction and Darken (option of layers) the line in the copyed layer. In the "Scar " layer use Soft Light. Merge Only those two layers with blurred line!
3. Choose a scar and made another layer with this . Full the Fill with some dark (or light) colors. Full the scar.
4. Do whatever you like - Pinch, Color Burn, Darken, Vivid Light, Sharpen Edges.
5. Merge all this layers and look at your work - the nastier the merrier.
6. Save your texture in BMP or JPG. Convert it to dds by DDS Converter.
7. Rename it to "humanhead.dds" and place into Data-Textures-Characters-Imperial.(Understand the pattern of placing , my fellow gamer? )
8. Run the game and admire your work!
Inspiration - medical books with color illustrations or try to search Gooogle for "Sandor Clegane" in Pictures.

Luck!

Basically, back up a texture and just try things. I find that the "light pink" look works best for me, if the scar is long healed or whatever. If you raise the edges of the scar to give it the appearance of some depth, using the sharpen edges tool I believe, it usually looks pretty cool.

Here's the Mystic elf face texture with a scar on it for example.

Yeah, there is a scar mod out, but they don't have long gashes like mine that specifically cut across the eye.

Seeing this kind of great information posted on our threads here sometimes makes me wonder if it gets added to SeV's Face Development thread. Someone or thread should be capturing cool tips like this. I try to capture all the cool screenshooting tips, but gave up a while ago on Face Dev ones.

That is a very nice Gash you made Moose! Although, I have a bunch of those on Hector's body, but his skin is dark, maybe I should color them gray?
