I found Torquion, but he/they constantly caste haste/blur all the time and as all 3 are doing it, the dialog box is in overdrive. I just wondered if that was normal?

also the Doomslayer thats mentioned as having the statue, is that the bear one (teddy i think) in the same cave? if so, he wasn't lootable, and i didnt pick one up.

Thanks

1. That's normal
2. There's another Doomsay that appears in a different area.
3. Just a general note, be sure to make a save upon entering every area, and before any major critical events in an area, because many times there are things that occur with NTotSC that you only get 1 opportunity to do correctly, and if you do them in the wrong order you have to backtrack and try again. The Vampiric Sword quest is one of those that's really easy to break like that.

Umm... could anyone please tell me where to find Torquion again? I thought his cave was marked on the map, but after jumping through all (currently) visible areas I still couldn't find him

Other than jumping around, which is the fastest way to find an area with a specific creature, I mean how do *you* find it? Please don't tell me you can tell each location out of memory... otherwise  Is there a tool to browse through?

Thanks!

lathander temple area near beregost. the cave entrance is not marked on the map so you have to actually "find" it for real. there's a scared person running to you and giving you warnings about the cave when you get near so it's not difficult to find it.
sidenote, killing torquion is always an option and saves you the troubles and expenses of "helping" him. every torquion nets 6000 exps so 18,000 which is (iirc) the same you get for solving the quest peacefully.

a good program to use is Near Infinity.

Ummm, from memory (sorry, been working on the worldmap too long) you want AR9305. Best tool to find an area or a critter is Near Infinity. It helps to know the mod that put it in and or the .cre name, but you can do a search with NI by knowing the creature's "in game" name and select any .cre file with NI, highlight the "Name" attribute and then do a "find" for the selected attribute and see the creature's "in game" name.

Thanks for your help

Still trying to figure out how to search "the right way", but I think I'll get it eventually.
