Hey guys, I'm hoping one of you can help me here. I have a ring that I'd like to tie a light effect to. I don't want it to simply be the light spell/enchantment but I actually want it to flicker like the torches and candles do, however I don't know how to get that effect tied to the ring. Can someone help?

I know there is a node in the torch model for its light so you would have to add something like that to a ring model. Take a look at a torch model in Nifskope and see what kind of nodes it has.

I imagine for it to flicker it may require scripting.

Then you have to set it up like a torch in the CS.I tried that, it didn't work...

Scripting, thats what it sounds like!
If you don't know/like to script, I'll try and make one for ya.

I'd love you long time if you did that. I don't actually know how to script so I'm not much use, but I'll tell you exaclty what I need. I simply need a light source that actually lights the place up but flickers like it was from a flame. The radius of the light isn't a huge deal, somewhere in the 20-30ft range would be good. I hope any of that helps.
