I feel sad in my heart right now.. Greatfool1 has put in so much energy and time. I just cant let that thread die in pain !

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but *I'm* staying here. And I think most will post both places, but if folks want to focus on the old board, I hope no one here would bear them any ill will.

Onto the organization of this board: I just had a thought: What if we had a separate picture thread for nude pics? Not so much encouraging porno-type pics, but for instance Spike's au naturale cat or FluCidity's beautiful tattooed characters. We could have a "Warning: Nudity!" in the Thread Title, and then those pics could be attached just like on the regular pictures page. I understand that's getting a bit cluttered, but it lets people who still want to view the regular piccies without nudity do so comfortably, and gives us another thread where the pics could still be right there on the page. I would suggest that the one comment thread would be used to comment on both picture threads, with the main thread determining when the comment thread rolled over to a new thread.

edited to add: Treetop, I say to you (& again to Spike) - I really do appreciate the energy you have put into not having that ugly stuff be the last of a great legacy. It's a much better start to this new board, not just everyone dumping on the old one & staying angry/hurt. I hope you'll post here - I can barely keep up with this board, and will soon hopefully be putting in more work hours again, so there's just no way I'll be able to maintain a presence on both boards - but understand if your main (or even only) posting is there. This place immediately felt like "home" to me, one of those indescribably things that just happens. I'm hoping we don't split into two groups with this hard line of "loyalty" to one board or the other dividing us - though some may react that way now, let's remember how recent all the hubbub was, and give it time.

So far, how does everyone feel about the move? From what I gather, most of you are happy about how things are. But, I'd like to know how you guys feel yourselves. Me? I'm thrilled about how things are going. You guys (and girls), are going really great, its a pleasure to know you all.

I don't know why, but I feel somehow much more at home here. Maybe its me being silly, but i get the feeling i'm getting to know you all better here? And I like that and you all a lot. I'm equally thrilled I guess

you know, I was just chatting with Liam yesterday over MSN. He told me how amazed he was at the level of maturity that we displayed in handling different situations that came up. He also stated that our efforts here we inspiring, and I was beaming with pride over our little group here.

I come back today to find people sniping at each other. Again. Please folks, lets try to keep these types of remarks out of our community. It solves absolutely nothing in the end. Nobody "wins", nobody get "the last word". The last thing I want to happen is for people to start leaving here because they feel it's a hostile environment.

With that said, let's begin to wrap up discussion here and move on to voting for all of these ideas. So far I got:

- should we split up the thread into 2, one for screenshots, one for pictures
- should we archive the old threads
- should we make a wip/feedback section
- should we have a seperate section for stories
- should we keep politics/religion to the lounge
- should we have a nude thread

Is there anything else to add to the poll? Please don't vote now, we're just trying to get ideas for the poll.

While I still like the ESF for looking up mods and such, I would rather stay here as far as posting and commenting on screenshots goes.

As far as the nudity thing, I agree with Hector. I think it's okay with posting such screenshots in the normal thread, as long as there is a warning on the link.
This way the pictures are more relevant with what's going on, and won't so much be random nudity shots.

@ SeV - Regardless of your opinions, this place if friendly and more "open" to newcomers, it seems. You must understand we will always have arugments, and I belive Floyd and Luch have put there to rest, so lets not bring it back up, please!

And what is this about screenshot/picture threads? You mean screenshot/comment threads?

Hey hey, I'm not saying I want that stuff to happen! But I mean come one, compared to the crap storms over at ESF, what is the big deal with a little chicken shit here, ya know what I mean?

Really though, I think we are doing great! And I really appreciate all the stuff Knux and SeV have done for us!

I really appreciate you guys moving out here and starting a bigger and yes, better community! I really want to thank GF1 as the screenshot thread is sort of his "baby" if you will.

Poll looks good to me. I see the point about the nudity thing becoming random nude shots, and do agree. Not sure that needs to be polled, but perhaps others still really like it?

VanQa - Aww! I think being able to be *more* conversational lends to that atmosphere. That's part of why I think the move was a really good thing. Storms or no storms at the ESF, it wasn't the place for that sort of conversation. This thread group really had outgrown the original nest, and it was time to spread the wings, so to speak.

@ VanQa - I can't belive I missed that comment! It is very sentimental, and I'm sure many of us feel the same as you.
